2018 is one gigantic dumpster fire. On the heels of several gutting Supreme Court decisions, Justice Kennedy is retiring from the court. While far from being an ally or friend, Kennedy was a reliable swing vote who wrote the majority opinion on several important civil rights cases, namely marriage equality. We should look very critically at his less than stellar legacy, but the real story is that Agent Orange now has been given a critical nomination to the Supreme Court that will swing it to the hard right for possibly decades to come. That means any hopes you had of some sanity in the judiciary can be kissed goodbye. So long access to abortions. So long to affirmative action. So long to environmental protections. So long to any hopes of reversing citizens united. So long to ending the death penalty. So long to more than I can comprehend in this moment. So long for any protections for immigrants/refugees that the court might have upheld. I can’t undersell the significance of this moment.

Welcome to the End of America.  Even harder times are ahead.

Every time I have opened the news for the past year and a half but especially more so today:

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU DON’T VOTE YOU FUCKERS

No matter how smart people who write these long essays or blog posts about votes don’t matter, everything is rigged, it is always the lesser of the two evils, the events of the past year and a half just goes to show how full of shit you are.

So let’s do a tally of what has happened because one can’t drag their ass to a polling station:

– Corrupt lawmaker given control of the EPA

– EPA regulations for industries done away with

– Oil drilling ban in the ocean overturned

– ICE powers expanded

– Positions filled with people with anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim, anti-LGBT, racist agendas

– Immigrant children are separated from their parents with no plan to shelter them or to track/document them

– US leaves the Paris Agreement

– US abandons Iran deal making any future negotiations with not just Iran but other countries impossible as it shows the US is unreliable

– US leaves the UN Human Rights Council

– US threatens to leave NATO and NAFTA

– US sets up Embassy in Jerusalem causing disruptions in the Middle East

– Regulations for banks is done away with, setting up another potential recession

– A summit with North Korea is limited to just a photo op, ignores North Korean human rights violations

– Despite asserting the clam that Obama made the US a laughing stock to our allies, Trump has bullied, ridiculed and feuded with the US’s most trusted allies and made favorable comments to dictators

– Got a conservative judge on the Supreme Court allowing for a travel ban for Muslims and dealing a blow to labor unions

Now Anthony Kennedy is retiring so Trump will get another judge on the bench and there’s nothing we can do to stop it because unless Democrats can get back control of the House and Senate the Republicans will okay every proposal from the Trump administration (essentially giving Trump everything he wants)

Not to mention that the Republicans will turn a blind eye to whatever scandal Trump, his family or his administration get involved in, as long as they remain in power and get to pass whatever horrible legislation they want

So if you want to say ‘Fuck You’ to Trump, then please vote this November

Oh and don’t vote Third Party

You may think you’re hip and cool by not voting for one of the major parties, but you’re just being an asshole

reminder that voting for a smaller candidate is literally throwing your vote away, we have the fucking proof right in front of you we’ve had it destroying our country since 2016 so PLEASE. STOP.

Yup, that’s the point you just stay still and let it do whatever the fuck it wants that doesn’t involved you getting eaten. 

REALLY FUN FACT for big cats cheetahs are fucking docile as shit

my grandfather ran a cheetah sanctuary in south africa and he’d just lie with them and sleep among them and they’d rub against him and chirp at him they’re big fucking babies

Another Fun Fact: Cheetahs are incredibly nervous animals. One of the (many) reason’s they’re going extinct is that cheetahs are so sensitive and nervous, some of them are literally too nervous to breed. Others will breed, but stress themselves out so much, they’ll lose their cubs.

So zoos with breeding programs had to figure out how to make cheetahs comfortable enough to first of all, get laid and secondly – not spazz themselves into miscarrying.

So what’d they do?
They gave the cheetah’s their very own Service Dogs!

The dogs make them feel safe, protected and secure!
