I feel like no one realises how bad this actually is. To make it clear for y’all if this law passes, it’s going to be 1000x worse than net neutrality. This is a literal internet censorship.
Want to post a cute fanart? BLOCKED. A fanfic? BLOCKED. Do you have a friend in europe and want to send them a meme? BLOCKED. Youtube let’s plays? BLOCKED Dan’s meme videos? BLOCKED.
Nearly not enough people are talking about this so please, even if you’re not european, help us and take part. We did the same when net neutrality was trying to ruin all of our lives. I’ll put some useful links below.
Right so to add to this. My friend has already been affected by this shit today . Her gmail profile pic which was eevee (pokemon) has been removed apparently due to eu copyright laws. It was a fucking profile pic. @eu fuck u

So I thought this was interesting and that I would share it with you guys!
This is the breakdown of what Pride Ice Cream Cone enamel pins have been chosen so far from my Kickstarter surveys. This is out of almost 600 orders.
The numbers are actually pretty close to what I expected which is cool. Except that Bisexual had almost the same number of requests as the Gay pin, which really surprised me! I expected the Gay one to have way more than any other just because it’s the rainbow but Bi only had a few less. So go Bi Pride! You’re killing it!
Also, this is why many Pride merchandise artists leave out the lesbian flag while including the asexual one. Not some lesbophobic conspiracy. Simple economics.

Very new
Not as visible as a lot of pride flags. (I searched pretty hard and couldn’t find a clear discussion of its history or origin. I found very little material online about it.)
Slightly harder to represent because it has so many different colors that are close in value.

I attend a local LGBTQ group where there are a lot of lesbians, it’s one of the biggest demographics in the group, and I had never seen or heard of the lesbian pride flag until the whole recent debate / discourse about it started here on Tumblr. I had to go look it up to find it, and the flag itself looked unfamiliar to me.
Even some flags, like the genderqueer flag which is not getting a big share in the graph above, seem more visible – this may be a function of its simple colors too.
The lesbian flag I find is a little hard to describe because it has many different colors that are all a similar shade. Like, with the trans flag, or the genderqueer flag, and many other pride flags, you can have the colors be slightly off and the flag is easily recognizable, because there are fewer colors.

If you want it to become more of a thing, then use it more! I see very few people using this flag or displaying it anywhere. I’m not a lesbian though and I’m not about to go around promoting it. The only pride flag I usually display anywhere in the genderqueer one, in part because I love its simplicity and colors (and often wear those colors in my outfit too.)
I’ve also very recently (like just this past year) saw multiple posts saying that the creator of the lipstick lesbian flag (one of the most popular flags to use, minus the lipstick symbol in the top left) turned out to be biphobic, ableist, racist, a TERF, and possibly a lot more really nasty things. So there are a good number of lesbians out there saying to NOT use that flag, it’s offensive to them bc of it’s origins.
so to all my lesbian sisters out there: please take a small comfort at least, in knowing that much of the invisibility of your flag is probably more just confusion. though there’s still plenty of misogyny plaguing us all, no one has forgotten about lesbians!
you aren’t invisible, your flag is just a little unclear. (which still sucks don’t get me wrong, but no one’s saying you don’t exist/belong)
