I swear, this AU makes me want to write more than anything else! You’ve infected me, damn you!! Alcor take you all!! Inspired by the fact that there’s not much written yet about Wendy Corduroy, and set about 50-ish years after the Transcendence.

The hood was yanked off Wendy’s head without warning, her captors shining a flashlight into her eyes. “Good, she’s not seriously hurt. We need to keep her this way until after the ceremony is complete.” A voice spoke, forcing her eyes open to examine her.
She pulled her head away roughly, scowling as the light was lowered, and she gradually made out the robed figures before her. “Oh, gee, thanks, so glad to know the assholes who kidnapped me want me unharmed, that’s a real load off my back! Who the hell do you people think you are, anyway?” She looked around the small cave as she spoke, trying to find a way out, but they’d bound her too well against a stalagmite to be able to enact an escape. She resigned herself to waiting for an opening, and to trying to determine who exactly had captured her.
The cloaked figure who had the flashlight turned his back to her to watch the other inhabitants of the space, whom Wendy noted with some worry were involved in finishing a summoning circle. Summoning who, she couldn’t quite make out, but at this point, it didn’t really matter. “Who we are does not matter, Miss Corduroy.” The figure observing the rest spoke. “All that matters is the knowledge we gain here today. If our sect were to wait much longer, it’s quite possible the chance to hear it might well have slipped from out grasp, and the world would be all the poorer for it.”
Wendy made a few more token struggles, but her bonds were to well secured. “All right, what “knowledge” are you looking for, then?”
The figure turned to face her as the other cultists took their places around the circle, and Wendy heard the grin in her voice. “You’ll see soon enough.”
With that, the figure took her own place in the circle and began speaking the summons. Wendy craned her neck, trying to spy the symbols in the circle, to get an idea of what they were bringing into this world, but to no avail. She gave up and focused on listening to the chant, waiting to hear the name.
She was surprised when she heard it, though. “…volumtatem me am! Diko nomen tum… Alcor!” The leader intoned into the space, and Wendy barely had time to let her eyes widen in memory of the name, before the air twisted and folded above the circle, forming dense black smoke that quickly coalesced into a star-suited figure with piercing yellow eyes.
“WHO DARES TO SUMMON ALCOR THE…” Alcor’s voice thundered through the space, but then dropped off as he saw Wendy in the corner. “Wendy?” He asked, clearly as surprised to see her at a summoning as she was to be there. He also quickly noted her bindings, and turned to the leader of the circle. “WHY HAVE YOU BROUGHT ME HERE, AND WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING, KEEPING HER BOUND?” He boomed at the leader, coming down to bring his face close to the leaders.
The leader backed away from the circle’s edge, clearly in awe for a moment, before slowly pulling her hood back, revealing a pretty face framed by long blond hair. “Oh, great Alcor, we come to you seeking naught but knowledge! For our offering, we have each brought an ancient heirloom from each of our families. She is only here so that she may aid you in your recollections!”
Alcor looked back at Wendy with a confused scowl, who shrugged in her own bewilderment. “Don’t look at me, dude, they’re the ones who want some sort of knowledge…”
Alcor turned back to look around the circle, inspecting each artifact that was being offered, before returning to the leader and nodding. “All right, you have an hour. Ask anything but that which may cause me or mine harm, and it will be answered.” He snapped his fingers and conjured a flame-bound chair in the circle and sat down. “Where do you want to start?”
The leader looked around at the other cultists with a slowly growing grin, and they each reached into their robes and pulled a book from within. The leader opened her book partway and started speaking. “OK, so, in the third Twin Souls novel, Into The Bunker, it says that Wendy pushed you and Mizar into the supposed closet and refused to open the door until you, and I quote, “confess that which lies so heavily on your heart”. But, according to Journal 4, written by Soos Ramirez, it was Mizar who pushed you and Wendy in. So, which one was true? It was Wendy, wasn’t it? You had the crush on Wendy, right?”
The leader looked up at Alcor with an eager grin, only to see Alcor had dropped his head over the back of the chair, and was letting out a long, low groan of agony. “Wwwhhhyyyyy…… Why did I have to answer this summons…….”
The sound was broken suddenly by explosive laughter from the corner. The leader turned to see Wendy hunched over, tears already streaming down her face as she laughed. “Oh, my god, it’s a fanclub!! Hahahaha, oh, this is too good!! You just wait til the folks hear about this, Alcor! They are going to love it! Hahahaha!”
Alcor only groaned louder in response. “Oooohhhhhhh, c’mon, Wendy, not that….. Anything but that……”
Wendy gradually regain control of herself, and shook her head. “Not sorry, dude, but it’s gonna happen! I’m gonna tell them all about how a cult kidnapped me and summoned you, just so they could find out about how Mizar pushed you and me into that closet, and how you confessed your love over what you thought was my body!” She grinned as nodded toward the leader of the group around Alcor, who was in the process of eagerly writing down every word.
Alcor shook his head, wishing he’d only given them the 15 minutes he’d at first considered before deciding not to stiff them. This was going to be a very long hour…

A Gift
Yeah…I am not..a writer. In any way, shape or form. Not really. Though I make an attempt sometimes. & this was just demanding I try. So I did. It’s probably, & I’m sure the tense is broken somewhere because I’ve never had a good grasp on tenses at all. But I didn’t wanna just not share it. So. -tosses it at you all-

Garret smiled at the pictures on the ground. Mommy and daddy would be so proud of him. He’d only had to fix the star two times and he’d gotten the pinetree done the first try! He’d overheard his parents discussing Alcor and his twin again. They talked about Alcor a lot sometimes. Some of what they said was strange, and the small boy, nearly six now, didn’t understand what they meant. But he knew they liked this demon. Why would they talk about him so much if they didn’t? Some of his teachers at school said that demons were nasty and scary. But if mommy and daddy like him, he had to be a nice demon! At least, the five year old boy thought so. And what he’d heard had made him sad. Alcor’s twin had gone away. Like Garret’s gramma had gone away.
The boy stood up, careful not to smudge any of his lines. That was important, he knew. He took the book he was borrowing from his parents down off his bed, setting it on the floor between him and his slightly wiggly circle. He frowned hard at the words he knew he had to say. They were long. But he had a job to do. Garret took a big breath and started to work out the words.
“Stella splenti..splendida, tea invoch…invoco. Tea innvoco out fakias volumtatem me am. Diko nomen tum:Alcor!” He smiled, he’d read it! Those were long words. He looked around his bedroom, from the circle he’d drawn as best he could on the floor, a small plastic jack-o-lantern of left over candy in the center as a gift. His parents called it something else once, but he couldn’t remember the word, and when he’d asked, they’d called it a gift. He had used some of the little candles his mommy never used but kept around the house everywhere. It had been tricky to light them, lighters were hard to use, and his fingers were sore now, but he’d managed. He purposely ignored the bit of wax he’d dripped trying to use the first candle to like the others. Everything was exactly like the circles his mommy and daddy used, he knew it. He’d done a good job. Suddenly a sharp crack sounded and he jumped eyes wide in surprise. There was a guy in his circle!
Without taking a moment to even realize the demon wasn’t happy looking, Garret grabbed the item left on his bed and rushed the circle. His arms wrapped tightly around the only part of guy he could reach, considering Alcor was floating nearly about his head, this left only his feet in reach. Garret said what everyone had told his mommy and addy when gramma had died.
“I’m sorry. For your loss. My gramma went away and I was sad. My mommy says that she’s not really gone though. She will always be with me. So you’re twin isn’t gone. Do you have anything of hers? My gramma gave me this.” He pulled back just enough to proudly show the demon what he meant. In his hands was a bracelet, made of cord, with several charms woven throughout. “Gramma made it for me a loooooong time ago. She had one too, but she kept it. I miss her a lot, but I know a twin is even bigger a deal then a gramma. I have other grammas but no twins. So I decided you can have this. My gramma wouldn’t mind. I don’t think. I have pictures of her too.” As he’d talked, Alcor had begun to drift downward, until his feet were solidly on the ground and the boy could wrap his arms around the demon’s middle. Suddenly, Alcor dropped to his knees, wrapping the boy in his arm and holding him tight. Garret gladly hugged him back. He knew Alcor was sad, the soft sobs the demon was giving were his biggest hint.
“If you want, I think I can get some ice cream. Mommy had to go to a meeting, but daddy is home and I think he’ll get me some if I ask.” Enthuesed by this plan, the boy gave Alcor a squeeze before slipping out of his arms. “Stay right there. I’ll be right back!” He set the bracelet down gently on the ground then rushed out of the room, shouting for his daddy as he went. When he returned, about five minutes had passed, and Alcor was still there, looking at the bracelet. Garret grinned wide. “Look! I got strababby ice cream!” He proudly showed the demon the bowl of pink ice cream. “I got an extra spoon too, when daddy wasn’t looking, so we can share.” He sat down next to the frozen Alcor, tugging his pant leg until the demon sat as well. He talked and talked.
Garret talked about his friends, and his family, and the funny little man who liked pixie sticks in their garden. He told the silent Alcor about the various creatures and people in his life. And tried to give Alcor a bite of ice cream after each of his own. He talked until the small candles he’d used burnt out. He talked until the ice cream was gone. He talked until his daddy’s voice came from down the hall of his room, calling him out for one reason or another. He stood up then, Alcor’s eyes followed him now. With a smile, Garret gave him another tight hug, which was easily reciprocated. “I’m sure your twin is looking out for you Mr. Alcor. Just like my gramma is looking out for me.”
His daddy’s voice called again, pulling Garret from the room. When he returned once more, the demon Alcor was gone. As was the bracelet his gramma had given him when he was four. Instead, next to the empty bowl, there was a small puppet, made in the image of Alcor, and a small note.
My sister did leave me some things. This is a puppet she made me a long time ago. Take good care of it for me. Thank-you, Garret.

PS: I debated adding a bit, where Alcor gives the parents a heads up for what their son did…but I dunno. He’s a bit grief addled. I’m on the fence about how much energy he’d put into something like that in this state.
PPS: Garret’s parents are part of a cult of Alcor. Though a smaller sect, & they’ve never used any sentient creatures as a sacrifice. Though they take part in activities, they’ve only asked for one thing in the several years since they’ve joined. & that was to heal Garret of a fairly severe case of clubfoot, to prevent pain as he grew up.

A Night Out
Transcendence AU fic. Dipper and Mabel’s parents find that their relaxing night out… isn’t.
So, for the Transcendence AU:
It’s one of Dipper’s bad days [read worst day ever]. He barely remembers his humanity and seeing Mabel, Henry, and the niblets just sort of makes a little twinge in his stomach. So he’s running all over Gravity Falls, causing generalized mayhem and chaos and laughing the whole time. And Mabel, Henry, the kids, and even Stan are just chasing after him, trying to talk him down. And then Mabel gets close enough and tries to grab his arm or his coat or do something to get his attention.
She gets his attention in the form of a blue fireball.
She’s not hurt, obviously, having awesome reflexes from all the hunting and things, but that’s not the point. It’s the principle– up until now, Dipper’s never tried so hard to hurt his family. And now he’s looking right at the Pines and he’s got this huge unsettling grin and the triplets are trying not to look so scared and Stan’s already herding them all behind him. Dipper looses his fireball and Stan just closes his eyes to take it-
Henry loses it. Yeah, it’s Dipper, but it’s also Alcor and nobody hurts my family.
Here comes the Woodsman. He’s in front of Stan in two milliseconds and swats the fire away with his ax and he goes for Alcor. Henry’s not even thinking of getting Dipper back to sanity at this point, just knowing you hurt them you’re dangerous get away from them.
So there’s this huge demon-human v. demon-human fight in the middle of town and everyone’s run by this point except the Pines who are just in awe and Mabel’s praying that they don’t hurt each other but Stan’s holding her back from interfering because they obviously could cause some serious collateral damage here.
Then Dipper breaks Henry’s antlers. And Henry’s completely floored because I didn’t even know that could happen oh gosh it hurts so much and he just collapses, turning human again and there’s the tiniest bit of blood on his head and Mabel’s breaking out of Stan’s hold and hugging her husband, dangerous dream demon be darned.
But Dipper found just a little bit of remorse from that – a tiny bit of humanity – and zaps himself away to recuperate and not hurt anyone else.
Three days later, after a mountain of answering calls to Mabel’s summons, he shows up at home again, looking exhausted. He takes one look at Henry, seeing ice and bandages on his head even though that obviously won’t help a noncorporeal wound, and turns twelve with tears in his eyes. Wordlessly, he heals Henry’s antlers and then goes mute for a few days. It takes a lot of work for Mabel to convince him no, it wasn’t your fault and of course he doesn’t hate you and we all forgive you and love you, bro-bro.
And ever since, whenever Dipper’s in one of his rages, Henry’s antlers start tingling/vibrating and Henry knows something’s up.
(I might write this some day but for now it’s just a thing. 😛 I wanted Alcor and Woodsman to throw down.)
You know how there are crazy fangirls who claim to be pregnant with a celebrities baba? I can totaly see a weirdo Alcor fangirl doing something similar, and now I can’t get this out of my head you HAVE to do this!!! Well, you don’t have to, but it would be awesome if you did
Alcor’s Secret Love Child? Teenage Mother Tells All In Pregnancy Scandal!
In a scene that seems to be right out of a romance novel, 18-year-old Annalyn Wilson of Sikeston, Missouri, tearfully confessed to our reporters her forbidden tryst with the infamous demon Alcor the Dreambender.
“Alcor was the man of my dreams, in more ways than one,” the attractive young woman admitted in between sobs. “Ever since I first laid eyes on him, I knew that we had something special.”
Though she refused to elaborate regarding the most intimate details of her affair with the demon, generally believed to be already married to the demoness Mizar, the blonde-haired teenager stated that Alcor had made first contact with her rather than her having reached out to him first and that their relationship had gone on for nearly a year before she learned that she was with child.
Miss Wilson reported that her parents were “mortified” both when they found out about their daughter’s unexpected pregnancy and when they learned of the child’s alleged parentage.
She, too, was shocked when her pregnancy test came back positive. “He never warned me of the risk that I would bear his child, and I guess I just assumed it wasn’t an option.” But even in the early days of her pregnancy, Annalyn said that she noticed a number of signs unique to her child’s demonic parentage, including a persistent high fever and a mysterious glow that occasionally emanated from her growing stomach. Anomalies displayed via ultrasound appeared to further confirm that her child is not of fully human origin.
The young woman’s face was covered with tears as she related that her lover had not answered her summons for several weeks, and that she was considering filing a paternity lawsuit against him, though filing such a case against a demon would be unprecedented.
“Alcor needs to take some responsibility for his baby- our baby.” Annalyn sobbed. “Every child needs a father figure in their life, and my baby will be no exception, even if that father happens to be a demon rather than a human.”
Alcor the Dreambender could not be reached for comment.
