I’m pretty new to the fandom (and tumblr in general) so a few quick questions. 1. I keep hearing about “Toby” (Bill?) but don’t see a character bio or any fics for him. Are there any fics for this character? 2 Are we allowed to submit fanfics whenever? 3 How do we do that, do we send like, rtf files, or just click submit and paste the entire thing? (How do people usually do it?)

1. We haven’t written a bio for Toby yet (probably should do that?) Anywho, Toby is a human reincarnation of Bill who is simultaneously the most down on his luck person ever and also the sweetest, most kindest human being on earth. He is like living sugar, and it drives Dipper fucking nuts. No one has done a fic on Toby…. YET. 

2. um, please give us your fanfics whenever WE FUCKING LOVE FANFIC

3. You have several options! You can post it to your personal blog and tag it as “transcendence au” within the first five tags. You can send us a link. You can copy/paste the whole thing as a submission to us. Perhaps not an rtf file-think more what we can easily share/show on tumblr.

“Friends With (Tax) Benefits” Headcanon: When people start finding out that Alcor married another man, he ends up being the poster boy -poster demon- for gay marriage, instead of asexuality.

So we don’t actually really see this happening; not because Dipper is homophobic or would even mind promoting more healthy attitudes towards gay marriages.

No, Dipper does his best to make sure that no one knows about his marriage to Henry, for the same reason he hides his relationship to the kids and Stan and Henry when he’s outside of Gravity Falls. It’s dangerous for people to know that Dipper has family and friends….and hell, if people know he has family, how much more of a leap would it be to figure out his true identity?

So to protect them, Dipper keeps the marriage and the kids a secret. I mean, he still wears the ring, of course, but you would be surprised how many people mistake a wedding ring for something akin to The One Ring of Power when a demon wears it.

Let’s not talk about how Dipper is far, far more protective of Henry and Stan and the kids in au/au.

Ok but if Dipper can hurt himself when he’s corporeal, what would happen if he heavily hurt himself (willingly or not), breaking or losing a limb? Would it regenerate instantly or he’d have to go to the mindscape to heal?

Depends on the timing. If Dipper has a decent amount of power at hand, it would regenerate instantly. If Dipper’s been doing some crazy shit and is more tired, he’d have to pop in the mindscape.

Either way, he would probably have to chill a bit in the mindscape and rest up afterwards
