For a second I was like ‘herp derp story thing what?”

But yes! Hank and His Supernatural Mafia started with a paragraph at the end of this fic here, and I had several people ask wouldn’t it be funny if one of the kids had a mafia (looking at you particularly mayordomogoliat) and things kind of spiraled from there.

Fun fact! Hank’s daughter Hazel ends up moving to Las Vegas (for college initially) and….starts a mafia of her own because like Hank, she is a sweet, kind hearted person who doesn’t like to see people get hurt and one night in the dorms there is this family of brownies that are absolutely taken advantage of by the rest of the dorm and Hazel steps in and before she knows it she’s making a call to her parents to ask for advice and she can hear Gam-Gam and Aunt Acacia in the background dying from laughter.

I just wanted to tell you guys that Acacia is my favorite character in this AU. When I was a little girl, I had to wear an eyepatch when I wasn’t at school because of a birth defect. I wish I’d had a hero like Acacia to look up to back then, eyepatch and all.

But seriously, thank you so much. Like, wow, holy crap, thank you, this i so sweet and this means alot to me (Mod S) and I’m going to lay in a corner and have feels now

It is Tara, but it refers to her middle name Antares, rather than Buffy

Acacia gets married first right after college! Hank marries Vivi a few years
later, and Willow never marries.

What’s the deal with Acacia’s eyepatch? Did she lose her eye somehow, or is it just style? Does she wear it for the pirate-like night-vision-ready advantage?

But yeah, afterwards, she jumps on that eyepatch train like there is no tomorrow. Acacia may or may not have a drawer of nothing but eyepatches.

Eyepatches in all the colors of the rainbow for color coordinating outfit, holiday themed eyepatches, eyepatches that are bedazzled, eyepatches that have terrible puns like “I See You!”, eyepatches with Uncle Dipper’s summoning circle in case of Shenanigans, et cetera.

Acacia does have a prosthetic eye, but honestly? Her style is way more about eyepatch

It is almost exclusively for making really shitty puns and for popping it out to the delight of her niblings and kids

One of the (admittedly) many things I really like about this AU is that I haven’t once seen a fanfic or art for Dipcor with a romance that isn’t making fun of Twin Souls and that’s really cool! You basically said, “well we’re not going to have him be romance-y but if that’s your thing- have fun!” And no one actually did it as far as I can tell! Like, wow, loyal fans. -chipsanddip

(edit) Mod Z: I’m also very moved with this! I do still stand by my previous statement that people are still free to do and write and draw whatever they wish (just so long as they know we may not reblog or post it on the “canon” blog here if it contradicts canon too much), but I’m really happy that people haven’t focused on romance much at all except for Mabel and Henry. Not to say romance is bad and there should be none of it in here, but I am glad that people recognize we’ve made Dipper to be ace/aro, and that the original focus was the deep platonic relationships he has with friends and family. There just isn’t enough of that out there in, well… anywhere.

I can’t say this enough, but I really love and appreciate ALL of you guys!! All the fans in this AU are just amazing and awesome and perfect and gdi u guys ;w;
