Sooo i’ve been in the AU for a while now and uh. Which mods has what speciality?(As in which mods mainly draws, writes angst, writes fluff, finds music that suits the characters, makes up headcanons, etc) And can i have a link to each mod’s blog? Thx

There are no specific specialties for the mods as if they’re exclusive jobs, but each mod does have some notable things they’re good at!

Mod Z: The Godmod– Mod Z created the AU! She is an artist and her art can be found in the tag #zoey art. Approach with caution and or gifts of teenie ratties. One mod has already lost their soul to her.

Mod S: The Drunken Woodsmod, Mod S created Henry and the triplets and writes things. Pretty easy to please.

Mod M: A writer, Mod M wrote the fics Reincarnation Blues and Return, Rewind, Rewrite; which are also two arcs in TAU canon. She is also our senpai.

Mod H: A writer, Mod H is the writer of many chatroom fics as well as AU-AU fics, such as Avarice!

Mod A: A writer, Mod A updates rarely, but tends to drop super-angsty AU stuff when they do. They’ve also made a ton of TAU playlists, and are trying to fic the Transcendence itself. They are actually a smol Satan IRL.

Mod K: A writer and artist, Mod K is probably best known as the creator of Bentley and the destroyer of California! She also helped with Mod O to create the Demons lyric comic.

Mod O: A writer and artist, Mod O worked on worldbuilding, including some of the initial headcanons on how Dreams differed from Nightmares, their usual dynamic in the wild, and Alcor maintaining a combined Flock, and wrote Love (plus a few other fics) to characterize the Pines Parents a little closer to the canon statement that they do truly love their children, but that this sometimes isn’t enough.

Mod R: An artist, Mod R created the Transcendence AU animatic, and has done other wonderful art for the AU!

At one point some pro-nat pundit comes on TV whining about the use of the term “Transcendence”, as the word has mainly positive connotations, and what happened was clearly teh worst thing evar. Cue Ford crowing, “See? Bet NOW you’re wishing people had picked up ‘Weirdmageddon’! That would’ve given off the perfect negative vibe!” Then he notices everyone glaring at him and realizes what he said, and contritely retreats into his sweater and mumbles, “and that would be bad, of course.”

Dipper and Lucy Ann playing dare (it was originally truth or dare but they both just kept picking dare). The upshot of it all is Lucy Ann has to pretend to be a kindergartner for four years and Dipper has to be a demonology student. And not correct the professor.

They both struggle for that time, egging each other on and trying to get each other to break as the stakes for the dare (which quickly becomes a bet) grow higher and higher, but they quit at around the same ti–

Just kidding, Dipper loses. He loses so hard.

What if a victim of abue /did/ want Alcor’s help getting rid of their abuser? Or the friend of the victim?

If it were the friend of the victim and Alcor were in one of his more human phases, he’d probably hesitate. After all, it should be up to the victim whether they want the abuser gone. If it were the victim themself asking, and they could offer an appropriate payment, he’d have a higher chance of accepting. However, in situations like this, he would prefer getting the victim out of the situation to either Willow or later, the Wandering Shack.

I agree 100% with that post about dipnip and consent but now all I can think about is Dipper glaring at someone while pointing at them with a finger and being like ‘I hope you’re ready to be carried from your shirt and licked clean for three hours because I’m gonna get hella high and I’m never letting you go’ (bonus points if it’s Henry. Dipper trying to carry Henry around by the ‘scruff’, floating as high as he can bc of how tall Henry is. And Henry just. Stands there while his wife cackles)

In reference to this post. 🙂

Hi, what’s the drift au?

The Drift AU is an au of TAU where no one can see Dipper upon his transcendence into demonhood, not even Mabel. As you can guess, it’s quite painful. There are two variants–good end, where he tries even harder to cling to his humanity, and bad end, where he discards it entirely. More information in its origin post, here.
