Day 11! Was feeling a bit eh and down on myself, so I drew my favorite dorks 🙂 it’s actually a redraw/developed sketch from last year, and I still love it so much. Poor Ben.
A pebble hit him on the head.
Dipper ignored it.
Another pebble, this time somehow getting into his mouth.
The pebble lodged in his throat, and even though he hadn’t needed to breathe in a few millenia, Dipper still chocked on the pebble. Legs and arms flailing, he fell off the couch and with a thunk landed on the floor.
Horking out the pebble, Dipper pushed himself up to glare at his assailant.
“What the f̵̳u̱̮c̝̻̝͍̭̗k̪̞̰̙̮͡ Tora?”
She beamed at him, completely blase.
“Hey Alcor.”
“What?”
“Alcor.”
“Yes?”
“Alcor.”

With the biggest, shit eating grin on her face, Torako asked, “Did you hear about the guy whose whole left side was cut off?”
What the fuck?
“Um. No. Why-”
Giggles bursting through, Torako barely managed to say, “He’s all right now!” before collapsing into laughter on the floor, clutching her sides with mirth.
Dipper felt his eye twitch.
“That’s a terrible pun,” he pointed out.
“Yeah…” Torako managed to say through her laughter, “but you still fell for it!”
Bentley, who had been doing some homework at the table, piped in. “She’s got a point.”
Dipper scowled.
“Why do I put up with you two again?”
Torako rolled over to him on the floor and plopped her head on his lap. “Because you love us.”
Day 7! I needed a break from the detail-heavy stuff I’ve been putting out, so I did a loose sketch with my brush pen =w= It’s nice to draw and post ben and tora again.
For the person asking about Trans characters in the Transendence AU:
– The Bentley fics do a great job of portraying a future where people are respectful of gender. Asking for pronouns happens frequently and anyone could be trans. There is also a nonbinary character.
– A Better Birthright is a story about taking over / healing the post-apocalyptic world featuring transwoman Mizar and numerous trans and non-binary background characters.
Mod K approves of this idea, but would like to add that she (personally) thinks that game-spaces might be more commercialized than private, like arcades or laser tag. You can have one if you’re super rich, but it’s pretty uncommon. Torako’s dads probably had to deal with little Torako throwing a fit when they decided to put in the garden space rather than a game-space. Otherwise, go for it!!
Mod K here! I’m sure that the birthmark comes up at some point, especially in their college days when they’re literally living together. At this point, Dipper really is Alcor’s name–it’s the name that matters, at least, and Bentley (and Torako!) are satisfied.
I mean, things have changed in two millennia, Dipper could have totally been a legitimate name in the early 2000s!

Mod K here; 4000 would be right! I remember thinking it out to myself and setting a specific year for the start of the Bentley arc, not that I remember it now. If it’s listed as 3000 in one of the fics, it’s probably a writer error.
