So, in celebration of the 2nd Birthday for the Transcendence AU, I made a stained glass Alcor! It doesn’t really correspond to anything, I was just playing around and this happened. Thanks again to everyone who created this AU, it’s a really great concept and I love it.

It’s that time of year again!
That’s right, we’re coming up on the second anniversary of the official TAU blog! Isn’t it amazing to think that this place has been around for a whole two years? We’ve been through a lot, to be sure, and now all the mods are getting ready to celebrate another year of TAU.
There’s plenty of chances for you guys to get involved in the festivities, too, like the ficathon that Mod S mentioned earlier!
But the main purpose of this post is to draw attention to the (hopefully-)annual TAU fan-suggested songs compilation playlist. For our last anniversary, Mod A pulled together all the songs that askers said reminded them of TAU into one big playlist (which you can listen to here), and they’d like to do it again this year. So if there’s a song that always brings this AU to mind, be it reminiscent of a character, a story, or the world itself, take a moment to drop it by the inbox so we can all take a listen.
Just like the ficathon is coming up this saturday, so is this! Give us your sickest and most dope tunage!

As a guest (so to speak) of this page, can I submit a fic for the 2nd Annual Birthdaficathon? I’ve fallen in love with this AU (having never even watched GF before now) and would like to contribute, but I don’t know if I need to be a member or have a tumblr account. I’ve tentatively claimed a prompt (#32 on the spreadsheet), but I will remove my name if I’m not allowed to submit.

We are turning two on October
5th15th and you know what this means! It’s time for our second annual ficathon! Give us your best fic, art, music, soft meat crowns, etc in order to celebrate our ascension into the Terrible Twos!HOW THIS IS GOING TO WORK!
1. Prompts and Sign Ups!
From September 12th to October 10th, we will be taking prompts and sign ups! You can do both by going to this spreadsheet here and submitting a prompt/signing up for a prompt. In addition, everything under the fic open season and art open season tag is fair game as well! We will be adding unclaimed prompts from last year as well once October comes around to the spreadsheet.
2. Posting!
Once you have taken a prompt, please have it done by October 15th! In order to make this a big fun day full of fic and art (like Yuletide on AO3,) if you get done before the 15th, please schedule your post to go online on October 15th.
3. Questions!
Can we submit our fic/art for the thon to you?
Absolutely! Just let us know its for the ficathon so we can schedule it for the 15th!
Do we need to do any special tags?
Nope! Just the usual “transcendence au” and we’ll see it from there.
Are you going to chase us down with hammers if we don’t finish our prompt on time?
Nope. This is a very chill and casual ficathon. While we encourage everyone who picks up a draft to finish it of course, neither are we going to chase you with a banhammer.
Mod S can’t promise that there won’t be a wedgie in your future though.
I want to participate but I don’t feel like doing any of the prompts? Can I just write/draw my own thing anyway?
ABSOLUTELY! Some of the mods have stuff planned for October 15th as well, to make this special for everyone. Mod S is going to post chapters for both Hunt and Mafia!
