God!Alcor was hell to draw but satisfying in the end. The last 2 panels are my favourite out of the entire bunch.

Another anon on about godmode dipcor’s voice-when he’s happy, it’s a bunch of major chords, when he’s sad, it’s minor chords everywhere, and when he’s angry, PEOPLE FALL TO THE GROUND CLUTCHING THEIR EARS IN AGONY BECAUSE THOSE NOYES SHOULDN’T EXIST

If human ears could bear to hear the voice of Godcor in any circumstance, it could certainly be as you say.

HC: Godmode Alcors voice doesn’t sound echoey with a lot of reverb, it sounds more like a chorus.

Does Alcor become a separate being when he releases dipper in the post god Alcor universe, or does he officially die?

Since Alcor is only another name for Dipper, when Dipper dies so does ‘Alcor.’

The coolest thing about Dipper reuniting with Mabel’s soul in the recreation of the universe (when he kills himself) is the fact that he isn’t just meeting Mabel, he’s meeting Max and Carmen and Mira and Belle and Bentley and Maddie and all those other Mizars who he’s known and loved and have all had so many different relationships with him but loved him all the same.

When dipper/alcor recreates the universe, is it the same as the last one (as some irl big bang theories suspect) if so will Alcor see again dipper and mabel, playing happiliy together once again? If yes Then how many alcors are there????

It’s the same insofar as being made of the same materials, elements, and forces. A life-sustaining planet somehow manages to form of the same general stuff and generate the same kind of life, humanity in this universe mirroring humanity in the last (mostly for the sake of familiarity over realism, I’ll admit).

However, Alcor then finally dies and his soul re-enters the reincarnation cycle, by and large as a human. There is no precise repeat of history. There is no practically-cloned Dipper and Mabel mk. II, especially not while (somehow?) Dipper and Alcor both exist independently despite being the same person.

So no, Alcor does not see Dipper and Mabel playing together etc. Alcor passes, and a new life for that soul begins, very likely with at least that one familiar old soul at his side – very likely with more than that one. He doesn’t see it. He lives it as a completely new person, without any memory of his past…though there might be subconscious effects of varying sorts here and there, penchants and yearnings and so forth. Still, there comes a point where Alcor the Dreambender is, technically, dead and gone, and Dipper with him.

We don’t really do “the next universe is just this one all over again.” That just gets boring compared to the possibilities inherent in it being a new canvas entirely.

HC: In the post God Alcor world, Dipper and Mabel are reborn together as twins once again, as they have been many times in this universe and the old universe (a brother and sister again in this particular instance). R!Mabel discovers that she has an ability that allows her enter a trance and gain insight into her past lives. It doesn’t exactly allow her to regain memories, rather it simply gives her an impression of things that happened, who she was, who the people around her were, a sort of half-memory as it were. As she develops this ability over the years, she can see further and further into the past. Eventually, she digs so deep that she gains insight on her lives in the old universe, sees the countless different people she was. But something’s odd. She sees her twin’s soul, but it doesn’t change the way hers did.

Throughout her countless lives, she sees Dipper remain the same person through all of them, feels the billions of years that his past life went on for. She sees the millenia of suffering, loss and loneliness, the endless struggle to keep his humanity in tact. She sees him losing her and everyone else he loved over and over again. When R!Mabel wakes from her trance-like state, she explodes into tears. R!Dipper bursts into her room, worry all over his face, asking her what’s wrong. She runs into him and pulls him into the tightest hug she’s ever given, sobbing into his shoulder.

Her brother is perplexed, upset to see his sister in such a state of distress. Slowly, she calms down enough to tell him what she saw. Hearing that you were once a powerful immortal being of some description is something of a surreal experience for R!Dipper, but most of all it kills him to see how torn up his sister is over it. They remain in their embrace for at least an hour, R!Dipper gently reassuring his sister that it’s okay, it’s all over now, billions upon billions of years in the past. R!Mabel clings to him like a limpet, still a little shaken from what she saw. She silently promises both herself and her brother that they will always stick together and that she will always be there for him, in this life and in those to come.

HC: The first few times Dipper reincarnates he/she has a deep, sometimes crippling fear of losing the Mabel reincarnations because of how many times he lost her in his previous life. He/she of course doesn’t know of this, and is completely stumped as to how this fear even developed.

When the universe dies, are the souls of Dipper’s loved ones still able to visit him before he is able to create the new universe? Also, what happens when that universe dies? Will the universe (through its mysterious universey ways) always ensure that there’s someone/something as powerful as godmode Dipper to create the next universe?

So far I think most of the lore hints at the souls being in a kind of hibernative state, but it’s flexible! Perhaps they can visit. Perhaps they do.

As for the cycle of the universe, we mostly only have this iteration to work from. In all likelihood, yes, we could probably presume that in some mysterious way or another the universe tries to ensure its own eventual rebirth through the gathering of the necessary power into a single (or, perhaps in some cases, more than one) vessel. Now if this theoretically failed, would the universes die an eternal death, leaving all the souls and matter and power scattered and dormant, or would these things somehow slowly coalesce into a thoughtless but at least moderately effective power source over time and kickstart a new ‘verse despite this setback?

Who knows?
