Steve Cordawin had seen the episodes of both Behind the Myth: Gravity Falls and Taming The Wild
(at least, the obviously heavily episode that had been released and
then immediately pulled from the air) set in Gravity Falls. He had heard
of the difficulties Kurt was having shooting any more episodes (or
anything at all) in the small town after the disaster that was his first
and about the lawsuit from Pacifica Northwest over the interviews he
had planned to air that had somehow been replaced by the uncut versions
at the last minute. He had heard of how Dr. Gallucio had so easily slid
into the Falls like a missing puzzle piece, a fact reflected in the
episodes of Behind the Myths set in the town. Admittedly, the
episodes didn’t go in depth yet, but they showed a level of love and
care beyond what even Dr. Gallucio usually allowed onto the screen. And
he wanted in. The ultimate challenge, an amazing adventure, and he
would get to see what Dr. Gallucio was up to. No downsides! Not
even the demon – that was the most exciting aspect of all! A demon
wandering around town, and everyone just…lived with it? It didn’t want
to attack and kill and cause chaos? It was unheard of, it was amazing,
he wanted to know more and he wanted it on film! And there
were so many animals in Gravity Falls that didn’t live anywhere else!
…Steve hoped they had a good hospital there, because he could see
needing it quite a few times.Grinning, Steve sent off a
text to Dr. Gallucio, who he had in his contacts as a research option –
with all the new supernatural creatures coming out of the woodwork, it
was good to have someone around he could ask about them, and about which
ones were sentient and which were actually animals, so he wouldn’t go
stalking people just trying to live their lives. He sat
back to wait…Dr. Gallucio was always slow to answer texts…with
bouncing knee and filled with nerves. Waiting was the worst part.

You know what I’ve been thinking about. I bet in the TAU-verse someone created a Tarot deck based around all the demons placing Alcor as The Devil. Alcor just thought it funny, but one of the more artistic and spiritual Mizars didn’t like it and decided to make their own deck based on Alcor and his history. So it has him as The Emperor, Mabel/Mizar as The Empress, Mabel/Henry drawn as The Lovers, and so on and so on. The Devil card people still discuss about to this day for it features a strange gold triangle with a crossed-out eye surrounded by blue flames in hard to make out shapes. One is said to be a shooting star, the other a pine tree.
Later on in years as the Twin Souls fandom rises, multiple versions of Alcor’s Tarot sprouted up into existence showing off favorite scenes from TS in different ways. There is even claimed to be 17 different decks that have sexual scenes from various books and fan fictions.
Of course Alcor is never happy about anything Twin Soul and aims to burn all TS decks he comes across. Though for some reason unknown all the original Alcor Tarot Decks is said to be more accurate in readings than any other deck that exists today. He thinks it has something to do with using his power in helping to create the first one.
Also it would be really really awesome if someone did make an actual TAU Tarot like someone did with Gravity Falls. Lmao.
Edit: Mod O actually drew some of the major arcana using a limited number of TAU characters quite some time ago – long enough that it’s probably been mostly forgotten, honestly. It’s not a complete deck and is only in pencil sketch form, and if others would like to make their own versions it’s definitely wide open. Have fun!
Alcor teleports into the shack to see another him. He sees a
cap at the side facing away from him so he assumes it’s three or four. “Hey,
three or four, do you want something to eat?” Alcor says casually. “Well
wiggity giggity that sounds greato friendo.” Dippy Fresh says as he turns
around, grinning while picking up his hat. Alcor steps back and stares. “Y͍̘̬̯̞͝O͏͖̺U̳͇̺͍” Dipper says angrily. “Wassup bro,
it’s me, Dippy Fresh.” Dippy says in response. “W̳̭̳̞͍H̞̲̫̗̟̺̗͞A͏̮͖̲̩T̸̮̮̰̝̮̫
̳͢A̟̭R͏̙̗̞È̩͍̰̗͙̟ͅ ̴Y͉̻͈̮̹̞͘O̖̫̝̰͞U͈̥ D̻̝̙̬Ǫ͈͈̯̣͍̼͎I̡̜̦̩N̦̱̫G̪̺̠̳̜̩
̺͎̘̳͍͎H̻E̘̲̞̙̜͚͇R̛̪͖̞͈̳ͅE̲̫̲͙̩͜” Dipper yells angrily. “Chill bro, sisterino
Mabel invited me in when she found me” Dippy replies calmly. Dipper sighs and
points at the door “just get out” Dipper says, resignedly. “Afraid I can’t do
that broreno” Dippy says in response. Willow walks in and only notices Dippy.
“Hey Uncle Dip, what’s with the glasses?” Willow asks. Dipper floats quickly
over to Willow and shields her. “Okay what is going on?” Willow asks, confused.
“Diggity wiggity, who’s this bro?” Dippy asks. “She’s nobody to you Fresh.
Leave, now.” Dipper says defensively. “Dude, Mabel invited me. She cool. I’m
not leaving bro.” Dippy states. Just then Mabel walks in. “Woah, calm down
Broseph. No need to be defensive.” She says to Dipper. Dipper begrudgingly
steps away from Willow. “There we go. Henry finished lunch by the way. Go eat
with your siblings, Willow.” Mabel says before Willow nods and walks into the
kitchen. “Now, you two play nice or I’m kicking you both out for the night,
okay?” Mabel says. “Fine…” Dipper says sadly. “You bet’cha sisterino Mabelino.”
Dippy says enthusiastically.Hours later after the kids had
eaten and played with their ‘new uncle’ Henry, Mabel, Dippy and dipper were
sitting in the living room. “I’ll admit, you did pretty good today Bro-Bro.”
Mabel says to Dipper. “Yeah well I didn’t wanna get warded out of the house
again.” Dipper replies. “That sounds sick brah” Dippy says. “It’s really not.”
Dipper replies. “I’m still confused about the whole Dipper three and four thing
and this Fresh person confuses me more.” Henry says. “You’ll figure it out
eventually” Mabel replies. “I don’t even
know how I exist soooo” Dippy says. “The energy release from the Transcendence
destroyed a lot of Bill’s stuff but in many of the Mabel land residents’ cases
resulted in them living outside the bubble albeit with the inability to leave
Gravity Falls.” Dipper says while continuing to stare at the TV. “…oh” Mabel
says quietly. “Wait, does that mean a bunch of my dudes from Mabel land are
alive?” Dippy asks. “Mhmm…” Dipper says, distracted. “I GOTTA GO FIND THEM!”
Dippy says as he jumps to his feet. “Mabel grabs him by the arm. “In the
daylight” she says “it’s not safe at night.” Dippy reluctantly sits down
“okay…” he says.Months later, all of the Mabel
land residents that survived have created a new home for themselves. Dipper
annoyedly agrees to go visit them with Mabel.“Wiggity dude brahs!” Dippy says
as he flies down on his jet board. Xyler and Craz play cheesy music in the
background. Dipper winces at everything that’s happening but Mabel looks around
with a beaming smile. “I LOVE IT I LOVE IT ILOVEIT” Mabel squeals excitedly. “In
a way you were the inspitration so it’s totally tubular that you like it
sisterino” Dippy says. “Awwwww” Mabel says happily. “I’ll admit, you’ve done
good Fresh.” Dipper says. “TOTALLY TUBULAR BRO!” Dippy exclaims. “And you’ve
lost my respect.” Dipper replies. “Aww diggity doogity” Dippy says sadly. “You’ve
made him sad Dip-Dop” Mabel says. “I don’t care, can we go now?” Dipper asks. “Fine
bro-bro” Mabel says. They walk away back to the shack as Dippy flies back into
the new Mabel land.As requested by @haberdashing for the @transcendence-au

Torako: “Here come dat demon” Dipper, zooming by on Heelies with shutter shades on: “oh shit whaddup”
Bentley is on film duty. They have gone through thirty-seven takes of this short clip. His arms ache. Torako has not gotten the line with the right intonations, according to Dipper, thirty-three of those thirty-seven times. The four times she has have coincided with one of the twenty-nine times Dipper has tripped over nothing and fallen, hence ruining his own line.
They line up to take the shot again. Bentley raises his arms and ignores the discomfort in his elbows to weakly call, “action.” Torako, sitting on the couch, raises her head and flips her hair, then pushes the shades down her nose. She looks over the top of them at something off the screen. “Here come dat demon,” she says. Bentley still isn’t sure what counts as the right intonation, but he thinks that might be it. Carefully, he pans the phone over to where Dipper is just starting to take off. Bentley holds his breath. Dipper doesn’t even wobble. He zooms by, Bentley following his form, and passes by the couch. As Dipper does so, he calls out, “oh shit, whaddup.” It had taken Dipper two hours to explain the significance of these lines to Bentley and Torako, and Bentley wasn’t even sure if he understood them entirely.
It takes Bentley a moment to realize that they have succeeded. It is a miracle, and a wave of accomplished fatigue overcomes him. He shakily stops capturing film. Then he takes a few faltering steps to the couch, where at last he will have rest. Torako and Dipper are high-fiving. Dipper asks to see the film, and Bentley hands the phone over, face pressed into the back of the couch.
He hears the last ten seconds of their lives replayed. Dipper and Torako are silent, and then Torako says, “Awesome, we did it!”
Dipper then says, “No, the camera was shaking whenever it stopped on something. We can’t do that. It’s not smooth enough. Not cool enough.”
Bentley pulls his face from the back of the couch. He stares at Dipper. Then, slowly, without a word, he stands up and leaves. Later, he hears that Dipper’s attempts to have the nightmares film ended in disaster.
Dipper settles for the shaky film.
HC: When the time comes, Dipper and Mabel do make sure that Stan’s headstone is ever-so-slightly bigger than Ford’s.
Stan clearly makes a deal for this because in your face Ford.
Taming the Wild Pt 2
Dipper looked down at the video in his hands, turning it over and
over in obvious confusion. “Jamie…how did you even get this?”Jamie
shrugged nonchalantly, though his cheeks were dusted with pink and he
was fiddling with his glasses. “Kurt might…be trying to brag,” he
said, free hand gesturing vaguely. “That he, you know, managed to make
an episode about Gravity Falls before I did? Even though I’ve been here
longer? And wanted to rub it in?”“And he just…gave you
the video he made?” Dipper asked incredulously. “Of the unaired episode?
Of the show he made that he thinks is competing with yours?”“Well,
just a copy,” Jamie modified. “I just…he was bragging about getting
‘the Dreambender’ on film, so I figured all of you should watch it with
me, and see just what he’s planning on before this gets out. Sort
of…ah…early damage control? I didn’t watch it yet, I don’t know just
what he saw. He doesn’t do the research I do, so he pumps out episodes
faster, but…and he can be pretty arrogant about the quality of what he
does.”“The big problem is if he found out names or how
we’re all related,” Dipper said honestly. “I…if he found out mine it
would be a problem and no mistake but…if they find out about Mabel and
everyone else…”“Let’s just watch, yeah? And worry
after,” Jamie said, wilting when Dipper looked at him. “I…might have
already been worrying about it for a few hours? And maybe panicking?
Just a little?”“…yeah, you get the notebooks and popcorn and I’ll round up everybody else,” Dipper said.
A r!Acacia and possibly some other people are given sweaters by a r!Mabel. Acacia’s says ‘Demon’s Niece’, and Mizar’s says ‘Demon’s Sister’. Alcor quickly ensures they DO NOT wear these outside the house (he’d probably enchant them or something) due to the bad experiences he’s had, but he keeps his own which says ‘NOT A DEMON’, but glows in the dark to say Alcor.
Dipper is a fucking hipster who wears his sweater to as many summonings as possible
As the twins grow up, does Dipper let Mabel keep her extra millimeter? (Not that it would matter because he’s floating all the time, but hey, it’s the thought that counts.)
Maybe, some days, every now and again…when he’s feeling nice at least.
(Speaking honestly as someone whose growth was outstripped by the younger sibs, if I could control my own height, I wouldn’t be that nice all the time. Granted, it could be totally different when it’s only a millimeter on the line between twins.)
Either way, I suspect that if Mabel ever tried to hold it over him they’d find him mysteriously sprouting an extra couple of inches, and then they’d just argue with one another over whether or not it “really really counted” and whether or not Dipper’s claim that, according to precision omniscience, he should’ve been that much taller anyhow is truth or him just making stuff up to feel justified.

A/N:
HEY HEADS UP
At the end of the chapter, there is a very short section with non-consensual kissing. This is a dream. It doesn’t actually happen to the character in question. BUT it still happens and you need to be aware of that. Also please do not expect another chapter so fast because this was a literal miracle. Also I was excited to write this, so it happened. 😀 Enjoy!!
Chapter 4: Olla Summons a Tutor
Wednesday went by in the same rush
of slow-cook tension as the day before it. Torako, exhausted from her bout of
sleep paralysis the night before, and Bentley, exhausted by the idea of her
targeted by the very demon she’s hunting, decided to take Thursday afternoon
off. Bentley invited Meung-soo over for dinner, reasoning that it was less expensive
anyways. Meung-soo agreed and was apparently excited enough to send Bentley a
virtual sticker. He gushed over it for ages. Torako agreed to be on call for
the evening in exchange for not having to physically be at the police station.
Most of it was a waiting game at that point, and Torako would rather be called
in when she was needed rather than sit around and do nothing. The magical
creature disappearances had died down after they’d been connected to the
cultists, the robbery at the magitech appliance store had been labeled a dead
end, and nobody was turning up incapable of moving. Torako worried, of
course—why did cultists need that many magical creatures? Why was the demon
taking so long to strike? Were they summoning more demons?—but there was
honestly nothing to do about it.Which is why, at 15:22, she was
pushing a cart along at the closest Mizzle Twizzle Market and pulling things
off the highest shelves for Bentley. For example, a package of assorted specialty
fruits from the Californian Island Federation that he needed for dessert.“Why do they insist on putting that
stuff up high, anyways?” Bentley groused, ticking the fruits off their shopping
list on his phone. “It’s so stupid.”“Not priority for shoppers,” Torako
said. “Or they hate short people.” She put the bag in the cart and leaned
against the shelf. “What’s next?”Bentley muttered to himself for a
moment before biting his lip. “I have a bunch of veg on the list next, and
after that is fish, but I could swear there was something else before we got
there. Bread? No, not bread.”“Were we just shopping for tonight
or for later as well?” Torako bent over and looked at the list from above. She
wasn’t a champion at upside-down reading, but she was pretty proficient.“I was only thinking tonight,” Bentley
said, moving out of the way of another shopper and their two rambunctious
children. “But I just can’t think of what other fruit we’d need for dinner…”Torako scrolled down the list with
her forefinger and let out a sound of realization at the same time Bentley did.
Nearly in tandem, they said, “The pineapple!”“Canned or fresh, though?” Torako
said.
