When Stan had died, it hurt.
It hurt because Dipper watched. And he couldn’t have stopped it.
Usually when things like these happened, Stan would give Dipper a pep talk, or crack a joke to lighten the mood.
But he was gone. And Dipper couldn’t do anything about it, demon or not.
“It wasn’t your fault,” Mabel had said.
But he was supposed to be the most powerful demon in the world, surely there was something he could have done?
At least Stan died of old age rather than anything else.
That made him feel better. That night, Dipper watched Mabel, making sure nothing happened to her.

The Other Way Chapter 2: Hello! It’s A Demon!
Apparently people like this so have the next chapter 🙂
It will be a while before I can post the third chapter but I’ll try to get it up by mid next month-ish
Dipper (the older more demonic one, considering there were kinda two now, not that the twins knew that) tessered them to the old house he had bought all those years ago, and had lived in with his child (because now Toby was long gone, he just couldn’t deny that that was what he was. His son…. Adopted, that is). Little Dipper and Mabel stumbled around a bit after appearing, Little Dipper decidedly stumbling away from him, but that was understandable. He definitely wouldn’t have wanted to trust himself in this situation.
I feel like I don’t draw Mabel enough so have a Mabel!
Some Toby and Maddie I drew a while ago 🙂
Psychic Singularity Ch 19
Hank had lost track of how long they had been walking and just what
direction they had been going in. The nightmares were leading the way,
while he and Gravity Falls were distracted keeping Uncle Dipper’s
Curiosity and Adventurer under control.Despite the whining of
both aspects Hank had kept the child leashes, and they hadn’t managed to
get out of them yet. Hank wasn’t questioning how the two aspects hadn’t
managed to wiggle free yet, all things considered – well, okay, he was
questioning, just not out loud where they could hear him and get ideas. It was a good thing that they hadn’t been attacked yet, and Hank was grateful for that, when he had a chance to think.
Still, with all the noise they were making, that was a bit of a miracle.
Gravity
Falls, for their part, was still apparently amused by Curiosity and
Adventurer’s antics, and Hank suspected it was distracting Gravity Falls
from the discomfort or downright pain that came from the circumstances
they found themselves in.Gravity Falls seemed to be extra amused
by how often Curiosity tried to climb trees, resembling a giant cat on a
leash as he did. If it weren’t for the leashes, the two of them would
have lost the aspects long ago.Up ahead, That of Teeth and Bessie
went still in the way only a supernatural creature could, as quiet and
frozen as a statue. At the ends of their leashes, halfway up a tree and
inspecting a bush respectively, Curiosity and Adventurer mimicked them,
all four looking in the same direction.Sharing a glance with
Gravity Falls, Hank shifted his weight to his good leg, hefting the
staff Aunt Candy had given him that he’d been using as a walking stick,
getting it into position for an attack.Hank didn’t allow himself to relax when two more of Uncle Dipper’s sheep shoved their way through the underbrush.

Drift AU part 3.
okay so, I know that when I started writing this I said that it was going to be a series of oneshots, but I´ve realized now that writing it as a continous story would work much better, so from now on that´s what I´m doing, just a heads up. You can find the other parts to this story on my AO3 or on my blog tagged as drift!au
Also, major trigger warning for a somewhat grapic suicide attempt in Dipper´s part. So skip that if that stuff bothers you.

What do historians think of Mabel’s connection to Alcor, and in turn, his connection to the transcendence? I feel like that wouldn’t (or shouldn’t) have gone unnoticed, unless Dipper ate that idea.
The Alcor connection to the Transcendence is pretty clear: the Transcendence happened, and then pretty soon after this dude named Alcor starts popping up. Fallers are pretty good about establishing that it was Bill that caused the near-apocalypse, and not Dipper; something that’s helped as magical texts and information become more disseminated/widely known/actually accepted as time goes on.
I think Mabel and Dipper are careful enough that the vast majority of people link Mabel to Mizar. Mabel and Dipper when they’re local try and take care to disguise Mabel’s face to some extent (a face mask, magic that blurs her face, et cetera.) When they’re further afield, it helps that they’re in places that lets be real, no one is going to have any idea what a Mabel is.
Perhaps some people make a connection between Mabel and Mizar, perhaps not (I’ll let this be squishy canon- let us know what y’all think!) but if we are talking the larger span of history, Mabel is probably mostly forgotten in context of Mizar theorizing. Perhaps occasionally a particularly determined researcher will produce evidence that Mabel Anna Pines was in fact, The First Mizar, but they aren’t taken seriously.
Now I’m curious… any famous people that Dipper or Mabel may have been in previous lives?
The Other Way Chapter 1: A Very, Very bad Situation
A while ago I saw a thing on the main TAU blog that talked about a Transdim AU where instead of Dipper going to another dimension, little Mabel and Dipper from another one came to the TAUverse and i felt like writing about that. Hope you like it 🙂
“This is bad, this is very, very bad,” Dipper said, pacing back and forth at the end of the alleyway the two twins had showed up in.
“Just relax Dipdip, I’m sure it’ll be fine,” Mabel responded, half-heartedly trying to calm him down, but knowing it really wouldn’t work.
“Mabel we’re in another dimension! How on earth am I supposed to relax!?” Mabel didn’t say anything, just sat down and watched her brother with a worried expression as he mumbled to himself.
