OMG YOU LET ME TELL YOU BOUT MY GURL MARITZA.
Maritza Martinez is Puerto Rican, and has thick black hair that’s mostly straight, and light brown eyes. She ends up at about 5′6, and about 170 pounds. She usually wears an unzipped pink hoodie, a t-shirt, and either shorts or skirts. She really hates pants and will if necessary wear thigh high socks with her skirts and shorts than wear pants. Her nose is crooked from accidentally breaking it when she was seven (she ran into a door) and she has several pock mark like scars on her arms (from when she fell into a rose bush). Maritza sweetie may be a little bit clumsy.
She is the middle child and has an older brother, Rogelio, and a younger sister Jennifer. While I didn’t plan this originally, someone posited that she eventually gets together with Maddie and I was like OH HELL YE so when she’s about ten, her family moves from Davenport, Iowa where she meets Madeline for the first time…
Maritza’s has antlers like a porcupine caribou, which considering how large they end up becoming compared to her relative height, Dipper finds really adorable.

Maritza was as nervous for her first date with Maddie as the hands hanging from her antlers were excited. Which, was to say extremely. The antlers themselves were growing apples and lovely roses, while the hands continued to pick the fruit and offer it to her. The hands were those weird guardians that some people had, who, but their very nature were much too emotional and overprotective. But it could have been worse, they could have been her actuals aunts fussing over her makeup and hair from behind her at in the vanity mirror. Or, she thought with a shudder, the hands could talk.
(Cont) so well. Dipper just kind of smiles even harder and maybe jumps up and down a bit and tries to say something but all that comes out is a kind of unintelligible high pitched noise. Maddie is poking maritzas horns and trying to get things to hang on them and telling her a familiar phrase, “don’t worry, someday I’m sure you’ll be able to make them tangible and biz!” Dipper grabs jerry’s shirt and grins. jerry is saying something about being proud and letting maddie go and trusting outsiders

It was a rainy Friday the day it happened. Madeline had finally managed to convince her dad to let her walk home from school. It was only three blocks after all, and she was ten years old for Pete’s sake! Dipper had gone on and on about cults in the area and a whole manner of supernatural things Maddy knew was just her dad being overprotective as always.
He told her to watch her surroundings, but she really hadn’t been. Dipper would probably be angry about that later. Maddy didn’t care, she was enjoying jumping in every puddle she crossed. Testing her bright pink rain boots’ water resistance and giggling as some of the water splashed against her striped leggings, she never saw the man in a hoodie come out from an alley. A rag was cupped over her mouth before Maddy could even get out a scream.
Then she was gone.
