Is it too late to join? cuz I really like this AU huhuhu If I may ask, what were the most number of asks in a day that you got? And if I’d like to sell merchandise/ art using this AU (as in like earn money) to whom will I give my letter to? :D SERIOUSLY DOE, I wish i could’ve went to the hype era of this AU HAHAHAHA

It’s never too late to join sweet nonny! Maybe we aren’t getting 30-40 messages and a bazillion new things on the tag a day but we are still active! And we are still creating new characters all the time, like @flying-guinea-pig and Thomas, or Alvie and Elisha by @ii-thiscat-ii, or believeinbees art and fic or-

none of my asks are getting answered, I understand you are busy but I keep worrying and overanalysing and refreshing the page every 5 seconds and flooding the inbox :(

Mod S here! A few things to keep in mind. 

1. 95% of the asks we get in the box we queue in order to keep the blog fresh. I’ve answered seven asks tonight and I stuck all of them in the queue. The queue posts three times a day, at 6am, 12pm, and 6pm. 

2. We don’t always answer everything in the inbox. Sometimes…. (most of the time for me at least lol!) they’re worldbuilding questions that we don’t know an answer for yet! That being said, we do keep all of our asks so that we can occasionally go through them and answer old ones once we have some inspo.

3. Finally, if you’re on anon and sending things in on anon, that is perfectly fine! We get it, I promise! That being said, this does mean that we don’t know who you are or more importantly, which asks are yours.

I hope this helps you a bit, and if there’s any other advice I can give you, it would be to relax! This blog should be for you to enjoy, not to fret over!

roughly how many asks do you get daily? roughly how many do you sift through daily? what is the statistical probability of each ask getting answered? submitting something is nerve wracking and I want to know the likelihood of my ideas/children surviving. do asks/submissions annoy you?

1. Depends. RN now that the fandom has settled down we usually get anywhere from 2 to 5 a day. 

2. Daily, at least one of us will at least check the inbox. Answering may take us longer due to school/work/life stuff, but we DO always look at the inbox every day!

3. Mod S is getting a PhD in history, not math, so I can’t offer like, math shit for you. But the chances are pretty good! I will say that we usually tend to answer things in batches- so right now I’m working on a bunch of asks. As well, we queue the majority of our asks so that we always have something every day on the blog, especially if the tag is not active that day.

4. OH MY GOD NO WE LOVE ASKS SERIOUSLY SEND US AS MANY ASKS AS YOU WANT. They do not annoy us we promise.

Hello Transcendence tag!

You may have noticed that I have written none things the last three months. That is because I have spent said last few months preparing for comprehensive exams, which are a Big Deal in the PhD world. 

As of tonight I have finished part one! To celebrate, I want y’all to ASK ME ANYTHING ABOUT TAU! I miss talking about my babies! Hit me up!

If you go to the TAU tag on Ao3, sort by wordcount, and add together all the words, counting only the stories that are atually about TAU, you get slightly over a million words on the first page alone. There is 20 pages, and that’s just the ones tagged correctly on Ao3. We’ve written a lot of fic.
