More on the Psychic singularity: As the Pines delve deeper into Dipper’s (haha) mind they start to encounter various facets of his personality, like the Adventurer, the Investigator, the Uncle, the Conspiracy nut & others, one in particular is the Demon, which takes the form of Bipper. Each one inhabits a certain area or scape in his mind which has “crashed” into a real world location. Demon in the theater, the Adventurer in a pirate ship in the lake, the Uncle in the shack, along with denizens.
Alcor causing a Psychic singularity, basically causing a mix between the Material World and the Dream Realm based on his own psyche, during one particularly bad day. The people caught within are trapped in their own mind-scape projected on the singularity, mixed in with real world locations. Dangers such as fears, nightmares and others manifest within. Also time and other needs work weirdly in there. Goal: The Pines must travel through the mind-scape and try to stitch Alcor’s mind back together.
