A historical film is made on the Transcendence. It’s revolves around Dippers supposed death trying to stop the apocalypse. There are embellishment but for the most part the backstories pretty solid however the screenwriter believed the version of events where Alcor was involved and so Dipper gets to watch a film where he’s both the hero and the villain. (I have this vision of Dipper and Bell watching this and getting upset Bell by Dippers death scene and Dipper at the real footage at the end)

*insert that one quote used in every history argument ever about how the heroes live long enough to be come the villains*

I just finished reading your rrr series and aaahhh now I both have a question and a random scenario that popped up- question is- we never saw Dip explaining his past to Lio and Belle, how did they react to/felt about the truth when he explained? p1

marypsue:

And the scenario is, Dips sitting at kitchen with a pit cola one night he couldn’t sleep and just looking at Journal pages or the non-stop fun one he and Mabs wrote and Lionel ends up waking and seeing him there lost in thought too?

That is really sweet! I haven’t touched on Belle much, but there is this ficlet I wrote for the TAU blog about Dipper going through a biography someone wrote about him after the Transcendence with Lionel and reminiscing, in case you haven’t already read it!

So, we all love Return, Rewind, Rewrite,
right? Like, really love it. It’s a great story.

We have to admit, though, that it takes a
lot of coincidences for it to work. While we can easily forgive this for the
sake of the narrative, it does also make room for quite a few ‘what if’s.

What if Lionel never found that very
special book at an auction that one time?

So, here: Five other ways Dipper Sterling
could find out he was Alcor the Dreambender.

What if… there was an incident?

I just got on a RRR kick and remembered how much I loved Onika. At some point, I asked if she was a R!McGucket. There’s a chance I subconsciously put a bit of Onika into McRosa. Going off of that…

It was laughable, really, how the version of Vira missing memories ended up with someone who in a past life had been in a situation and even currently had initially offered up the entirety of her own memories. Maybe the latter was the reason McRosa ended up getting the chip rather than any other reincarnation. If Vira had landed in her hands a life sooner, well, Dipper could only imagine what trouble Vira would get into.

You know what would be cool? If technology in RRR from @transcendence-au developed gum with molecules arranged in sigils that activated after the gum had broken down and the spell teleported the gum to a trash area in the gum company’s headquarters. It is marketed towards people with braces since the gum completely dissappears. Alternately, braces have charms with boundaries that block out things that break brackets (and that cause cavities, etc.)
