Have there ever been close calls, where the triplets and Dipper got a bit too carried away and Mabel or Henry had to intervene before one their kids (I’m betting Acacia) made a Bad Deal with their uncle? Even if you grow up knowing about demons, accidents can happen…

Probably more in Drift AU than main TAUverse or FWTB. For the most part, if Dipper feels himself beginning to… drift, he’ll leave the room for awhile until he calms down and does something he’ll regret.

(The same thing goes for roughhousing with the kids, when he catches his claws beginning to sharpen again, his movements become hungrier-)

That being said, the triplets do make a few ‘bad’ deals with Dipper, mainly as Dipper and their parents and Stan see it as a good teaching experience in a mostly safe environment.

Babies may be tempted with a demon uncle to wheel and deal, but they learn quick

What animals have the kids brought home in hopes of keeping? How many of Henry’s stray cat friends followed him over from Manly Dan’s place? (How many of those cats decided to ‘make friends’ with Dipper?)

seiya234:

The kids have brought home, over the years

  • a raccoon
  • an opossum
  • a momma opossum and her babies
  • Louis the Gnome
  • minnows they put in an empty milk jug for that purpose
  • garden snakes
  • a bear cub
  • Andrew, Louis’ husband
  • a… thing with more eyes, tentacles, and orifices than Henry ever needed to see
  • lots of sticks and rocks. Sticks and rocks are cool.
  • a baby alligator. Also the day Mabel and Henry found out there was a small alligator population in Lake Gravity Falls (damn exotic pet market)
  • More baby birds than you can possibly count
  • Dipper (he was stoned off his gourd at the time and Mabel sent them to fetch)

The only reason the rug wears off is because the triplets spent several days using it to get out of the classes they hated in school

Mabel and Henry knew something was up when the wrong triplet occasionally showed symptoms of Willow’s aura-headaches, or when they caught “Acacia” eating a snack they knew she hated but that Hank loved.

Dipper, on the other hand, knew what was up immediately – perks of seeing auras and all. He let it go for a little while just to see what would happen.

Has the family ever gone riding together? Horses or otherwise.

seiya234:

Mabel and the kids have gone out on 4x4s before, with Henry decidedly Not Watching (he doesn’t need any more grey hairs thank you very much also seriously those things roll at the drop of a hat oh god-)

Acacia, as soon as she turns 18, gets her motorcycle license (it was one thing that Mabel and Henry put their foot down. Stan taught her how to ride in secret) and for years after drives a hot pink motorcycle with a side car for Reina. And groceries.

Father’s Day and Mother’s Day- do the triplets always try to do something for their parents on these days?

seiya234:

Of course!

Over the years, the kids get into the habit of giving Henry a homemade book by them every Father’s Day. Acacia draws and designs, Willow writes, and Hank binds it.  Henry keeps every one on a special shelf in his bedroom. (and after he passes they become a permanent part of the Library)

For Mabel they alternate between crafting supplies and gag gifts. The challenge isn’t to get something Mom will laugh at; that’s easy. Getting her to laugh until she starts to cry? There’s the challenge.

The Pines Triplets always knew something was watching over them. Their mother said it was their uncle smiling down on them, they assumed as an angel, but they were wrong. Now they are in for a hell of a time with their uncle dipper, “Name’s Alcor, call me Al” so join Acacia, Hank and Willow as they battle demons, pass grade school, and learn that sometimes, family is loving the little devil inside us . Our Uncle, Alcor, soon to own on VHS and DVD -classic VHS family film Trailer

Mundane adventures of the Flock in Gravity Falls! Niblets riding them to the store, demonic petting zoo at the shack, finding and curling up with lost children in the woods, helping in the Library, being sent on errands round town… (sheep holding a note that says “2pts milk, 1 lb sugar” and a twenty dollar bill, baa-ing at the shop guy until he takes the money and puts the stuff in sheep’s saddlebags)… sheep running up to tourists’ kids begging for pettings and freaking the parents out…

Jim tumbled out of the car as soon as it pulled to a stop, to his parent’s amusement.

His dad went to check into the motel while his mom came around the car, leaning against it as he stared at the town around him

“See something you like, champ?” she said, and he grinned, huge and beaming, dancing in place with excitement. They were really here, in Gravity Falls, where the Transcendence happened!

This was so cool!

Previous chapter here!

——————-

Henry fell out of the tear between realities face first into
the dirt.

Then he managed to get himself on his arms and legs long
enough to puke up breakfast.

A warm hand caressed his back. “I’m sorry Henbone, I didn’t
think you’d take interdimensional travel this badly.”

Henry would have reminded his dear wife that she had seen
him get both seasick and carsick
before and this really wasn’t much different, but he was too busy puking what
felt like his toenails out.
