More TAU-related word vomit, probably varying degrees of canon or not canon TAU thoughts. Most likely a lot of late night ideas. XD
-Depending on how Dipper holds his wings throughout the day and if Dipper is consciously paying attention to it… Does Dipper’s wingtells technically mean his hips don’t lie? Kind of?
-In one of the older fics, it’s mentioned that pre-Transcendence Dipper wrote a book about his adventures in Gravity Falls and the family published it for him. And that there’s a picture of him posing with books for the About the Author photo. If this has his birthday mentioned in it, and other important records of him are lost over time, couldn’t this be a potential source for later niblings to surprise him on his birthday, assuming he doesn’t mention it and that they read it?
-TAU came up in my dreams a couple of times and dream-me was so excited I woke up about: 1) the epiphany that I could totally get Dipper’s buttwings tattooed onto my lower back. Other people probably wouldn’t think of tau when they see bat wings but still, I could have my own buttwings. I’m not even sure I want a tattoo but dream-me was so excited. XD 2) the thought that Cani probably gets summoned to make deals with vampires to fix broken fangs. She is the tooth demon after all. 3) Lepus can leave wherever Dipper keeps him with that 1/750 chance to summon the rabbit. Imagine this happening during mating season or something, and he’s not kept away from other rabbits or something. Also imagine that over the years Lepus might have gained a way to talk and may be trying to make a rabbit army to serve the great Alcor. Cute but dangerous and all that. (Further probably not canon fun with that: Mizar finds out and teases Alcor about which animal army is next.)
-That evil!Willow dream someone had kind of makes me wonder if the Twin Souls stories ever goes the evil!Gliese route. Gliese doesn’t show up after Willow dies, right? Probably before that too because old age? Surely the Twin Souls series author(s) and fandom must feel the need to write an epic about Alcor being restored to his former glory and the unfortunate cost of Gliese’s life to do so. Fandom are driven crazy without closure on that kind of thing, you know?
-Jupiter is adorable. Is she Mabel-era? Does Mabel love the fact that Dipper is called Dadcor by her, amongst other cute names when she’s excited? Does rat niece get a cute sweater or five if she does meet Mabel?
-I HC that Anser the fox familiar goes through a variety of names over time. I love all the names everyone came up with for him and I just feel like this is what he’d do? Kind of like Dipper taking on various names in human disguise.
-Since the Pleiades are mainly support and in large number. Imagine, at one point when they are adults, there is: a hair stylist, a masseuse, a medical doctor, a chef, and a variety of other support-related jobs, depending on generation and interests. Family discounts and alternative ways to help for those who want to stay but take a different supportive path, yeah?
-“Henry, grab my hand.” “Why?” “Just do it ” (Dipper flies off over a rainbow, Henry screaming)
-(Dipper holding Mabel back from starting a physical fight) “Mabel, no, I’ll give them nightmares or something later.” “But Dipper-” (other person keeps talking smack) “Mabel, hold my hat” (his gloves are in it already, his cane has disappeared, and Henry grabs them both by the back of their shirts before they can make the situation worse) “Guys, no.”
-I had a dream where dinosaurs came back to life and those who defied them were shrunk down to just a few inches. Not being shrunk did not save you from randomly getting eaten. People were dying and losing hope. Then dream-me decided to summon Alcor, make a deal to end the dinosaur apocalypse, and the dream ended with me dying and Dipper saying “seriously ? Seriously? Dinosaurs with shrinking powers?” That’s all I remember but I agree with dream-Dipper here. Dreams are weird.

What is meaning behind the triplets symbols?
Acacia is the cross because of her name- Polaris. Polaris, also known as the Pole Star or the North Star, is the brightest star in the Little Dipper, and has been used as a guide for ages. Thus, a compass that got simplified down into a cross.
Willow is fire because fire. Also because Mod S isn’t very creative.
As for Hank, he is the moon. There is a reason behind that but you will have to ask Mod Z because I originally thought of a musical note.
A Gay Old Time
People should think twice before lecturing strangers – especially in a post-Transcendence world.
Based on this prompt.
Mabel
loved having triplets. No, really, she did. She loved knowing that,
with any luck, they would grow up the way she and Dipper had been set
to, having each other’s backs and always knowing there was someone in
their corner (even if they only joined a sibling revolt out of principle
sometimes) despite the inevitable sibling squabbles. But at the moment, Mommy needed a break. Mommy needed a break real bad.
Mabel
glanced at Henry over hyperactive triplet heads, and he nodded, on the
same page already. Good husband, he was so getting a reward as soon as
Mabel could manage it. And her silly moose had no clue he’d earned one,
either. But seeing him be a good daddy to their kids really got her
sweaters knitted wink wink nudge nudge.Already
Henry was herding the triplets toward the door, enticing them with the
prospects of fresh air and a playground they hadn’t yet seen rather than
sitting through another lecture, since they were only going to be in
this town for a few days while this particular Demon Con was going on.
Though apparently, seeing Mommy yell at people about how wrong they were
was also a strong motivator to stay, so it wasn’t exactly an easy win.Dipper
hesitated, clearly torn between following the triplets and staying with
his sister. There was almost an entire cow’s worth of steak waiting for
him back at the Shack to keep him physical and looking mortal for this
trip, no matter which he chose, so Mabel patted his arm.“Go be an uncle, bro-bro,” she urged. “You don’t get to go out with the triplets in new places that much. It’s just a lecture.”
“The
last time you had to give a lecture, the convention hall ended up on
fire and we had to bail you out of jail,” Dipper said flatly. “That’s
why you dragged me with you this time, remember?”Mabel
gave a raspberry, slapping her brother on the shoulder. “You’re
worrying too much! Come on, broseph, I’ll call you when it’s your part,
and you’ll know if things go wrong. Henry’s gonna need your help with
all three kids to wrangle. Go have fun.”Dipper
grinned hugely at his sister, starting to float after his brother. His
feet slammed back onto the ground when she hissed “LIKE A PERSON!” and
he stuck his tongue out at his sister, running backwards for a few steps
before turning and sprinting after the rest of the family.Mabel just shook her head fondly, laughing. At least she had that image to take in with her to this lecture.
Headcanon: by 12 the triplets are all reasonably fluent in Latin.

Happy Birthday @seiya234! I hope it’s a good one–have some babs in fancy Alcor-color-coded wear!!
Unconventional Convention Meeting
I blame this: http://transcendence-au.tumblr.com/post/137148880102/a-twin-souls-fanfic-author-actually-meets-mabel
Premise: Kaydence runs into an unusual fan who gives her some pointers. Then she decides to ask for more advice and meets someone who is far from a fan.
So how often does boredom for the triplets lead to trouble? Short fic about said boredom maybe?
Fic open season!
More About Butterfly
Mary Ellen first appears in “Drastic Measures.” I had a request that I tell some more of what happened to her and her little brother after those events. (Holy crap it’s been a year since I wrote that? Time flies…)

Mikey didn’t remember their parents very well, but Mary Ellen did. And sometimes, she wondered how any of them could have been related to people like her aunt and uncle.
The worst part was how her aunt and uncle presented such a dignified, kind front to everyone outside the house. Look at us, they seemed to say. How kind we are, how generous, to take in our niece and nephew, and to provide for them now that their parents are gone.
So there was no one Mary Ellen could turn to. No one would ever believe her, if she spoke out about what things were really like at ‘home’. It just meant things were worse once they were behind closed doors again if she tried.
Then she found out about her relatives’ other dealings, the plans for summoning a demon to be their slave, to use her and Mikey to seal the deal with fresh blood and child sacrifice.
What they hadn’t counted on was for her to call the demon first. But what else did she have to lose?
And none of them had counted on Alcor. Alcor, who’d heard what her family had planned for her and her little brother, and who’d promptly Lost His Temper and made a deal with Mary Ellen, and open ended deal that she’d made in a panic, but still didn’t regret.
Mikey had no idea what exactly had happened to their aunt and uncle, but Mary Ellen could guess.
She could guess, but she really didn’t want to know for sure.
Honestly, she was mostly surprised no cops had come after any of them. They had to still be in the system, but no one had ever come questioning them.
Apparently, being at a Gliese Pines Family Foster House covered all that.
I can’t get tumblr to orient the photo properly, but Willow is supposed to be on top.
Family Portrait
Once again, shout out to tonithelibrarian for editing! 🙂
Dipper was floating over the Library, most decidedly not watching and waiting for Henry’s truck to come down the lane of course not he wasn’t that overprotective.
Finally, the truck came trundling out from between the trees, pulling to a stop outside the Library and letting out four of his favorite people in the world.
The younger two triplets darted into the house, laughing, while the oldest trailed behind her father, kicking at the dirt morosely.
So, being the good uncle he was, Dipper flipped over and drifted down to see what was wrong.
“Hey there sweetie, what’s got you so down?” he asked, dropping to hover upside down in front of his niece.
The side of Acacia’s mouth quirked up, but she remained stubbornly angry. She stormed up the stairs at the back of the Library to flop down huffily into the old couch that still sat there, huffing and crossing her arms, letting her backpack thud onto the porch.
Even the thud sounded indignant.
