They’re so adorable, and he gets so frustrated and upset.

Since the final decision seems to be that Alcor the demon would lose to THEFINALPAM, what about God!Alcor? Also, what exactly is THEFINALPAM? I haven’t been able to dig up any information on him/her/it.
Mod O has no clue what it is, and is only answering this because other mods more likely in the know haven’t yet and it’s slowly getting buried in the inbox.
Her belief is that God!Alcor is sufficiently overpowered that he could wipe out anything he wanted to, and even some things he doesn’t want to by mistake. She can’t gauge this against whatever power this PAM being has, but God!Alcor power seems pretty heavy on the scale, and if the original fight was close enough that the knowing mods had slightly differing opinions on how it would go, then he should have this in the bag.
Really, on that note the original question should have specified how old the ‘regular’ Alcor is in this match-up. New to demonhood, not yet powerful enough to hold a physical form without a sacrifice? Accustomed to and comfortable with his powers but not yet strong enough that a fight with another demon is a foregone conclusion? Rapidly approaching godhood, having seen eons pass, his strength ever-growing throughout them all? Mod O’s got the feeling that this will change the answer.
HC. Dipper does another ‘Spring Cleaning’ of his hat and finds that a whole society of sentient, inanimate objects has formed and view him as their dorky god. Bonus: They become their own branch of Circle of the Dreamers’ Star and regularly pay him tribute with long forgotten candy stashes that, for some reason, never became sentient. Bonus bonus: The leader is a copy of the first Twin Souls book that Mabel had given him and he could never bring himself to get rid of it. (As much as he hated it)
Oh the irony of that book.
Also, that hat is a hazard zone of magical energy.
Writing Prompt: a Mizar who was raised by Alcor while he didn’t have any recent practice with being a person, so you have a sort of raised by wolves thing going on.
Expansion: it doesn’t necessarily have to be a Mizar if you’d like to explore other reincarnations re-entering Alcor’s life this way.
>sweet sweet rave music of their horns< "Sweet"?! No fuck unicorns, their music is shitty. They don't know what rave music is.
You want to say that to a unicorn’s face? I mean, we won’t stop you, we just want you to be certain of this path.
Jagger, you might wanna know something. In a much older post, we learned that at some point, Dipper’s true name *becomes* Alcor. This is something you should know. Because it’s where the pain starts. And here at TAU, we like to make you suffer.
Change happens, even for immortal beings.
Fic Prompt: Transdimensional arc au where a Bill (who is thankfully not as sadistic as the others) figures out dimension hopping and gets stuck with Alcor for awhile until he can recharge. Bonus points if its during the time that Alcor is Toby’s guardian.
How many Transdimensional arc AUs do we have now? There’s the original, then there’s the versions where Toby comes along, plus a handful of other transdimensional suggestions here and there…
Ah, what’s one more? As long as it’s an AU of the arc instead of adding more dimension hopping to the standard storyline I think we’re good…
maybe the insatiable ones all have the grey head/sphere and sunglasses, but each has a different body?
It’s possible! We’ve never seen anything but the head at least.
HC: demons are scared shitless by Gompers. Because that thing won’t die, can’t die, and will prove with eyes of maddening Eldritch flame that whatever tried can. Srsly though, no-one fucks with Gompers.
Gompers may sort of be capable of dying? At any rate the goat definitely ages. He just sort of limps off into the woods at the end of a goat-ish lifespan and then returns the next day as a prancing little kid-goat to live said lifespan out all over again. Whether death itself is involved and in what form is still a mystery, but it could be part of it in a phoenixy way. It’s not off the table at least.
The fact that even Alcor’s vast knowledge can’t figure this goat out is the really unsettling part. Most people fear what they can’t understand, and for beings accustomed to understanding almost everything…yeah, Gompers could give other supernatural creatures, including Demons, the willies.
(and honestly, Gompers himself probably wouldn’t even have to do any fighting of his own. He’s part of Alcor’s package, so to speak – the Pines, the Shack, Gravity Falls itself, all under Alcor’s protection. Most demons aren’t even going to get close enough to try messing with the goat in the first place)
I like how whenever gompers comes up no one can really explain gompers. He’s just an etenral mystery. We know there’s something wrong but we have no answer for what it is.
Gompers is simply Gompers, and that’s the only concrete answer we can really give.
