I saw in that guide something called The Wandering Shack, I was wondering what that is.
The Wandering Shack comes from the idea that
a. The Mystery Shack becomes sentient and gains a soul after a century or two because Reasons/Magic/Rule of Cool, and
b. tends to wander around saving kids in help/chilling like a villain/doing cool house stuff.

I think the problem with people thinking that the twins parents are horrible not just misunderstood is because we CRAVE that angst and want some bad parenting to feed on. A simple solution is to instead look into Henry’s parents. We KNOW they’re terrible, right?

Hey so I’m slightly curious, I believe you said (and I could be wrong) that Belle was haunted by what happened with Mrs Peterson, but did she ever have any nightmares or feel uneasiness after watching her brother vaporize that one cultist in the original RRR fics?
That is something that I…completely failed to address, isn’t it?
It may come up in a future fic (I have at least one more big-ish RRR fic on the backburner), but the short answer is: yes, she did, and does. I’m going to say that it’s a little different, though, knowing Dipper killed a stranger in front of her (and there mayyyy be some residual Mabel-memory that has inoculated her somewhat against his more demon-ish behaviour), and she herself blowing up someone she knows.
What deal has to be made for Coppy’s blood to be spilled? I’ll pay whatever the price!
