Can you explain the amazing new comic with the dragon please? I’m a bit confused about Lionel

[from this post by mod z]

Lionel is Lionel Serling, of mod m’s Reverse Rewrite Rewind series. The punchline is that Dipper, while reincarnated as a human (named Dipper Sterling, son of Lionel Sterling, twin to Belle Sterling, etc), is in reality a demon wayyyy older than his father.

(mod c assumes that the comic itself is some hypothetical scenario in which, via some supernatural-related shenanigans, causes them to meet a dragon eventually. being a magical/supernatural creature itself, a dragon could presumably see/know the true ages of things)

Hi! I have 3 quick questions about Twin Souls. 1) Are there cannon names for each of the books? Like Book 1 is Twin Souls; (something) 2) Is there a cannon name for the author of the series? 3) Does Mizar get turned into a demon like how Bella gets transformed in Twilight? Thanks!

1. Nope. General rule of thumb is come up with something magnificantly over the top and over-wrought.

2. Also nope. We’ve touched about the author once or twice but there’s no real author.

3. No idea. Honestly at this point when we talk about Twin Souls, we (well, um, Mod S anyway) imagines it as kind of a whole genre/shared universe thing, with multiple books, authors, and plotlines. All of which talks about Mizar and Alcor’s love, and all of which makes Dipper want to puke and cry at the same time.

Point being, Twin Souls is supposed to be delightfully ridiculous so imagine what you will.

Is it bad that I’ve started shipping the Woodsman (after he separates from Henry) with the Hand Witch? Like, just a little bit?

Alright, How many years after Transcendence were the twins born? Hank and Acacia also realize, later on in life, that they can use magic right? (if yes plz say when) Does Willow ever have any biological children or are they all foster kids? Is Willow’s soul changed like Henry’s soul is? How does Mabel work in the reincarnation cycle? What characters have been around for a long time in Portland? Is there a specifically stated organization for magic research? I have more but that’s a lot to answer

Hello!

1. Well if we go off the show taking place in 2012 (and by extension the Transcendence), then the triplets are born in 2026, fourteen years later.

2. Yes. Hank is about thirty when he realizes that he is One with and can interact with the Genus Locii of Portland. Acacia is about in her mid-thirties to early-fourties when she realizes that the things she sculpts comes to life; it’s not exact because she never does much with her magic….Mainly because Acacia, bless her heart, cannot sculpt her way out of a paper bag. She leaves that to her son, Stan Jr (aka Nito).

3. Willow has a biological child, Auriga, and two children she adopted, Rob and Annie, before she started taking in foster kids. At the end of the day however, she considers all of them her children.

4. Nope.

5. Mabel reincarnates, but as Dipper has her soul, the two of them are indefinitely linked, and he is constantly aware of her presence within the world.

6. Here are some!

7. Nope. Feel free to come up with your own.
