Wouldn’t the first time Dipper saw a real life boob in the flesh be the first time he met Grunkle Stan? There is no bigger boob than that man.

Oh god. I just fucking realized. But how many parents would summon a demon to make a deal to cure their children from illnesses/disorders medicine still hasn’t find a cure for? Those kind of disorders that slowly destroys a child’s psyche, like Heller’s Syndrome, or that kill you if you can’t get proper medication, like AIDS? Or, fuck, even some parents that try to ‘cure’ their kids from things like autism or asperger. Parents making deals so their kids won’t have their same hereditary illnesses

Deals that often have a horribly high cost in return…

Uhm, I have Asperger (which is actually a degree of autism) and if I’d get rid of it I wouldn’t be me anymore. So no thanks!

excellent point-thank you!

(The only reason that ask was published was because the word “cure” was in quotations, denoting that anyone who would try to remove autism from their child isn’t a cure, and they don’t need to be cured in the first place)

Hi, yes, hello! I‘m wondering if there’s any additional info on the twin’s parents? I’m working on a thing and I’m currently headcanoning their dad as a dentist and their mom as some sort of university professor, and also I’m figuring out their personalities a bit, and I wanted to make sure I’m not accidentally contradicting something pre-established (For this au, anyways, who knows that the show will do xP)

All sounds great! Mod S (er, um, me) hadn’t really thought much about their jobs so this sounds great!

As far as personality goes, once again, we have a pretty fast and loose canon in this here AU (lol) so go nuts!

The main thing to remember with Mark and Anna (and what I try to remember whenever I write about them myself) is that it’s not that they aren’t good people or that they don’t love Dipper and Mabel.

But sometimes good people do bad things, and sometimes love isn’t enough to overcome all obstacles, and in their case, the Pines never are able to handle Dipper becoming a demon. They try. They never stop trying. But some part of them just cant
