Can we get a group of something somewhere that we all join and you just post when you’re doing a stream and it pings us in case we miss the tumblr post? Like can you do that on skype without demolishing someone’s address book? Make a group convo, the only people that post in it are the mods with stream starts, where it is, stream’s over.

considering how many people actively follow/contribute to this au, that would be a pretty large mailing list!!! skype, for one, has a max group size of only 25, and alternatively, that would be lots of people with access to the same account. with keeping track of passwords and everything, that sort of thing could get really complicated really fast.

at least for now, i’d say your best bet is to just keep track of the transcendence au tag (which updates much slower than the blog does), since that’s what we look at to reblog stream posts along with anything else au-related. so as long as everyone streaming makes a post in the tag, it should serve the same sorta purpose as what you’re talking about. and then you can just delete the post from the tag when the stream is over. that’s what the mods do for our streams.

we can look into maybe doing like. a twitter account or something maybe? but unless someone has a different suggestion, that would basically just be a clone of what we already do on this blog… as well as being one more thing to manage. there are, unfortunately, times when none of us are online at all and just miss the streams completely, but us mods do our best to reblog those kinds of posts from the tag whenever we see them!

I headcanon that Mabel would have a kinda longer-than-average life span and also wouldn’t have too many age related problems because of her connection with Dipper also because I am furiously ignoring some of the saddest headcanons (gee I wonder which one it is)

I think it’s been brought up a time or two before that Mabel doesn’t have an inhumanly long life span. A long one well within the range of human possibility, say, into her 90s or maybe 100s, is a certainty, though.

(And gosh Dementia!Mabel is too sad for Mod A to think about for very long so I’m with you on the age-related problems)

You guys know that one demon who takes the form of a long legged burrowing owl who teachers any who summons him about astronomy? How well do you think dipper would get along with that guy?

Are you talking about this guy?

I can’t really find much info on him, but he doesn’t seem to be the type of demon to rip people’s souls out at every deal he can, so Dipper might get along with him better than he gets along with some of the demons. I don’t think they’d be friends or anything, but I don’t think they’d jump straight to fighting each other when they met either. I could see them acting like assigned roommates that aren’t friends but don’t want to start trouble – acknowledging each other when they pass but not seeking each other out or anything.

Oh my gosh! Just imagine Dipper being summoned and his summoner turns out to be a far relative. She’s very smart and talented despite being 5 years old and seeming very naive. And she summoned him with his fancy suit to be the proper sir on her tea party. Just imagine it! *Sigh* Okay, I’ll stay a little longer…but it’s gonna cost you another chocolate chip cookie!”

Oh my gosh that is so cute!

Mod A is smiling so hard you have no idea
