How old was Dipper when he destroyed California?
If we go with the twins being born in 1999, as per the show (turning thirteen in 2012), and California is destroyed in 2038, then Dipper would have been 39.

As for your question, you don’t have to ask our permission to be creative, and any fic writer I’ve ever known would be apoplectic with joy to have something made in tribute to their work. Go for it.
Two suns? Did Tatooine just become AU-cannon?
Mod O wrote the two suns into that world as a minor background detail in the fic ‘Breaking Anew’ a year ago, so it’s been around at least for that long. The world itself isn’t really anything like Tatooine, though; it’s got a nice, varied, earth-like array of ecosystems and an axial tilt for seasons rather than following Lucas’ single-ecosystem-planet model. 🙂
