A question for folks with experience with wheelchairs

First, a note – Ford is being extremely difficult to write in Singularity. Seriously. At this point I’m ready to jot down some stuff, then watch his episodes before going back and editing them. Why must he be so difficult…

Now for the important question.

If any of my followers knows about or has experience using a wheelchair, would you be willing to beta something for me? I’ve never before written someone using a wheelchair, and I just finished writing one of my weekly TAU fic where one of the major characters is using a futuristic chair. I tried to be realistic about it, but as I’ve never used one, well…I don’t want to get it wrong.

So if someone with any kind of experience or hints as to how to properly write this kind of thing or who would be willing to check over that story wouldn’t mind popping into my askbox, I’d appreciate it.

I did not intend for this fic to become six pages nor did I intend to create like six new characters or write a summoning incantation for Brian the Organ Duck. Like yea he totes deserves it, but this is not what I thought I do at all. Its nearly 3,000 words and i think it might only be almost 75% done? I don’t even know anymore
