Though in all seriousness, you’re right, Theo remains pretty mute through out his life, PTSD has different effects on people so in his case it’s his muteness. His sole communication will be through sign but when he’s comfortable around someone he will talk if need be. So he’s spoken to Paz, but even then Pacifica understands that he prefers not to and uses Sign when talking to him instead unless he initiates a verbal conversation.
