The breaking point in Alcor’s treatment of Toby came a few months after Maddie arrived, when the boy casually offered his soul to the demon, hoping to receive the same unrestrained loving treatment as his baby sister. In all fairness, he argues, he’s had demons and humans coming after him since he was born, “wouldn’t this make it easier?” It’s too reminiscent of a conversation with Henry, and when Toby says the words, “I trust you” Alcor visibly flinches. Tyrone is positively doting after that.

i drew toby and maddy from the transcendence au! it’s maddie’s birthday, or something along those lines. i didn’t know what to do for clothing, so i drew them in jumpers; either toby made them, or they’re from the stash that mabel made for all dipper’s friends and now i feel sad bc i remembered how toby dies and it’s just not fair

I couldn’t find anything on the bios page about Toby, and I tried to read through to get his full story, but there’s just so much content on this blog that it gets a little overwhelming after a few pages haha. I’m sorry if this is inconvenient to explain, I’m just trying to get as ‘into’ this au as possible (I’ve been on this blog since yesterday morning whoops) and I figured I would just ask for a summary/explanation/origin ? Thanks !
