i actually wrote this on a reblog but i’m reposting it for the mods-senpai

Toby blinked and sneezed. He patted the ground, unsure; he felt the sharpness of grass and twigs and weeds. The air besides him ripped, as it had done last week, and Dipper– no, he was on his full-on super-demon mode now, lines of gold breaking the black– appeared.

‘’Oh…’’ muttered Toby’s legal guardian, and he cursed. Toby recognised part of the cussing, but dotted here and there, there were some demon ‘’inside insults’’, such as ‘’galorian of p’grian’’ and ‘’muggleshits’’, whatever that meant.

Toby, still dizzy, heard his own voice ask ‘’What happened?’’. He was not ready for Dipper’s answer;

‘’We’re in that dimension I’m human.’’

There was a hc a while back about Toby somehow ending up in the transdimensional (is that what it’s called?) universe and I was wondering how you think the crew from that universe would react to him and the way he and Alcor act towards each other.

Mabel would want to adopt him. Immediately she’s going "new baby brother!” and Toby just goes with it, half bewildered, half cautiously happy. Mabel might scold Alcor from time to time for being too harsh on the innocent little bun.

Alcor grumbles about it endlessly. ‘Oh my god this kid I can’t even,’ but deep down inside seeing Mabel and Toby getting along and happy does good things for him.

Dipper would be a little weirded out and suspicious of everything, especially given his opinions of Alcor himself. If he ever figured out (or if it was let slip) that Toby is a reincarnation of Bill he’d really flip.

Stan doesn’t even know how to react. Gruff and Reluctant Alternate Dimension Demon Great Nephew and his Adoptive Shrinking Violet Son? How is someone supposed to deal with that? In the end he just settles more or less on accepting it and continuing to be himself.

Bill’s totally wondering how he can use Toby, since the kid is a weird part of himself – one from an alternate dimension and who he really doesn’t understand at all, but still potentially manipulable and therefore useful. (Maybe he’s the one who lets slip the former nature of Toby’s soul…)

As for any others or anything further in depth…fic open season?

High as a kit-kite

Transdimensional arc: about Alcor on Yggdrasil. Was that -by any chance- another one of Little Dipper’s many before-mentioned attempts to banish the demon? Drugging Alcor was part of some grand plan to make this easier, and somehow he finds a lot of the stuff? Only for it to backfire in such a hilarious (and endearing) wayXD Dipper being all embarrassed/mortified as Mabel teases him (did she get a tongue-bath and snuggles, too?), but somber!Alcor is old enough to just take it with fond expiration and/or outright joining Mabel in poke-a-dip. (Wonder how many look at Alcor the same way after, thou..)

ps. Please tell me Alcor sneeze at some point during all this? And other cat shenanigans?

Hey, Dipper, what took precedence? Finding the author of the journal or figuring out who Alcor was?

tau-cast:

I – what?!

Come on, I know it was like crazy important to find the author, but some asshole demon from an alternate dimension pranced by and told us we’d lose our souls if we couldn’t figure out who he is.

Of course Alcor took precedence. We thought one of us was gonna die! Or worse! I’m pretty sure losing your soul would be worse.

Anyway, don’t ask me anything else about that jerk. I wish I could forget he ever existed in the first place.

Transdimisional arc: Alcor shows dipper and mabel some demon sheep who somehow followed him to this dimension. Mabel freaking the hell out because OMG SO CUTE! Dipper freaking the hell out because why are those sheep looking at him like that. Sheep freaking the hell out because master why are there two of you. Alcor just laughing his ass off.

Double points that the demon sheep looooooove Dipper.

Cue multiple scenarios of disgruntled!Dipper and highly amused!Mabel and Alcor

So I think there was a post a while back about Toby getting thrown into a portal or something and Alcor having to go looking for him.

What if the poor kid ended up in the post Transdimensional Arc universe? Complete with suspicious Dipper, Mabel maybe making him sweaters etc. And eventually Alcor arrives. I wonder how the twins and Stan would react to Alcor and Toby interacting?

Wrong Lucy Ann, I meant the one in the alternate dimension not the one in his home dimension. Because seriously even without cypher, dipper and Mabel will still get into shenanigans and other than an uber demon who else would be capable of watching over them than a old-as-balls vampire. And the deal I was talking about is giving Lucy Ann an adult body in exchange for being the pines family guardian

oreramar:

Ooooh, got it! Though pegging the Lucy Ann of his dimension as a babysitter also seems possible. 🙂

You might be able to pull it off – the trick is that Lucy Ann of the transdim (T!Lucy?) would most likely still be a loner who doesn’t care for humanity that much. She doesn’t know Alcor and has no ties to him or to his family. I know I’d be skeptical if a random demon started stalking me, insisting he was from another dimension and could give me the one impossible thing I really want in exchange for babysitting a couple of human kids. It’s the sort of thing that sounds suspiciously too good to be true. She’d be going nuts searching for loopholes he could take advantage of, motives he’s probably hiding…

I’m not the expert on Lucy Ann, though, so as far as I’m concerned it’s up in the air whether or not she’d bite. Pun intended. 😉

Another barrier could be that Alcor’s not actually having to deal with summons in his two or so months there. He’s present to keep them out of shenanigans if he has to be, without entrusting them to an alternate universe version of someone who he could trust in his own dimension, but doesn’t really know in this one.

On the other hand, Grunkle Stan and Dipper and Mabel dealing with a guardian vampire in the shack – a guardian vampire appointed by the au demon version of Dipper no less – that could be comedic. If anybody wants to write it, I don’t think we’d argue. 😀

original ask in question

Have you seen the transdimensional arc in the transcendense au? If you have I would like to propose an idea: By that time Alcor would be so powerful that he could carry the full weight of a deal with just a confirmation from the asker if he wants to. what if before he left he appointed a guardian for the pines family. Someone powerful enough, smart enough and gifted with immortality as well. What if he asked Lucy Ann?

oreramar:

“Hey Lucy Ann I’ve been browsing dimensions recently and there’s this one where stuff’s going to be really bad and I’m gonna go fix it. Don’t know how long I’ll be gone. You’re in charge. Make sure nobody dies, yes?”

Kind of like that? 😛

But yes, I’ve seen the trasdimensional arc. I kind of love the transdimensional arc. Freaking out past!Dipper with demon!Dipper is really entertaining. If I knew how to draw appealing comic layouts I would love to do a few panels of the end of the name guessing game, from “You’re me” through the bow, reveal, and some sort of “Well done” or “It took you long enough” or something. It seems like it’d be a very striking scene done visually.

that fucker would ask lucy ann tho
