Transdimensional Ford and Alcor

Putting a twist on the Transdimensional arc. Fic Open Season – how is Transdim Ford brought in and what is his reaction to the idea of a nephew-turned-demon from another dimension entirely?

In the Transdimensional arc, The Mystery Shack members and Alcor are playing poker, with Mabel beating them at it.

There is such rampant cheating going on at that table, and while Alcor really thinks he should have an advantage (having played against an older and wilier Mabel in his own past) somehow it just isn’t working out the way he expected.

Wait, so if Alcor is in another dimension during the transdimensional arc… what about Mizar? Is the transcendance dimensions’ soul just sitting there in a normal life during this?

Well, yeah, pretty much. Either there hasn’t been a new reincarnation yet and the soul itself is just kind of hanging out or the Mizar of that time is doing their own thing. All Mizars have lives outside of Alcor – even the ones who accept him as family.

During an adventure without Alcor during the Transdimensional arc, when Dipper and Mabel with others are in a tight situation, Dipper actually has a summoning charm for Alcor, but initially reluctant and stubborn to use it since it’ll mean he can’t do things on his own and needs Alcor’s help. It’s only when the others are in real trouble and no way out does he use the summoning charm to summon Alcor.

Alcor never, ever, ever lets Dipper hear the end of it for the rest of the summer.

I don’t think we ever pinned it down exactly, but several hundred years old at least.

Old enough to have loved and lost a hundred times over.

Old enough to open his eyes, see his younger self in front of him, and it feels like dying all over again.

You think in the transdimensional arc when Dipper and Mabel tag along with Wendy and her friends, their “older cousin” (Alcor) tags along with them?

Of course. It’s an opportunity for Alcor to see not just Wendy, but Tambry and Thompson and Lee and Nate and even Robbie again.

So whenever Alcor’s pretending to be Tyrone Pines, Dipper and Mabel’s older “cousin” during the transdimensional arc, for those who don’t know who or what he is, how do the act or think of the twins’ mysterious “older cousin”?

The town viewing Alcor gets from him a 90% weirdo, 10% goose-crossing-your-grave/heart stopping terror/imminent death vibe.

Is there a fic about Alcor’s fight with Bill in the transdimensional arc? I absolutely love this time periode, but I can’t find the final showdown!

In the transdimensional arc when Dipper was still wary and distrustful of Alcor and trying to get rid of him (and failing), a self proclaimed demon hunter (to others he’s just an eccentric loon) arrives to capture this new demon he “sensed” and won’t rest until he’s hunted the demon. Dipper doesn’t know if he should help this person or just keep out of their way. Alcor meanwhile sees it too funny to pass it up,
