okay but consider robbie actually being a zombie. i mean itd make sense considering his parents and itd fit in with this au pretty nicely. i imagine that he’d be really really embarrassed about it, but less so after the transcendence. dipper would probably be the first person to find out (mostly on accident), then tambry would be the first person robbie would actually tell (she was probably pretty chill about it). crap; now ive got a lot of feelings about zombie!robbie…

Hc that, post-Transcendence, Robbie’s parents fucking went and revived their butler because having an undead butler was simply TOO hilarious. It brings the downside that the house ends up reeking not only of death, but also of ‘dark’ magic, and the smell lingers on Robbie for decades afterwards. People both in Gravity Falls and outside just assume Robbie is a zombie (though fallers take it much better and don’t mind, which is why Robbie ends up going back after college and settles down there).

HC: When Robbie heard about Dipper’s “death” he was actually awfully sorry for the guy. He didn’t found out about him being a demon until years later when he summoned Alcor to “deathen up” a party.

Since Wendy is one of the first people to find out what happened to Dipper, I doubt it would be long after that Robbie hears about it – they’re in the same group of friends, after all.

Robbie could actually be legitimately concerned when he sees the forest near the Mystery Shack is demolished from the explosion just before the Transcendence, and rush over there. He knows Wendy works there, and hey, he probably likes Mabel a bit after Love God.

But yeah, I do see Robbie actually being terribly sad while he (and everyone else) thinks Dipper died in the blast. I like to think that in the time it takes for the summer to end, the two of them end up having something akin to a shaky friendship; like a pair of bratty brothers who claim to hate the other’s guts but still somewhat enjoy hanging out together deep down (or at least with the rest of the gang).
